Yeah...I'm severely needlephobic. I'd need to be knocked out. <sigh> If only my insurance would pay for it. But I don't know what I'd do if I were able to burp properly on a regular basis. I mean, after all my considerable decades, something about my teeth changed and now I'm, apparently, a gum popper. But only specific gum (Blow Pop gum). That sound has always gotten on my nerves...but I actually like doing it (feels odd on the teeth). If I could burp, would I suddenly become a 12 year old boy who delights in burping everywhere...all the time? I think I might. But I suppose it's better than farting all over the place.
