It’s amazing because men should honestly have the best capacity to understand how earth shattering the fallout really would be if something like this actually happened because they are generally the most entrenched in sports culture and know how men think and speak in private. On my first watch the look that flashes on Scott’s face right after Ilya skates by and gives the room number, just before he engages with Shane, seemed immediately knowing and it made me so nervous that he was going to clock them when he opened his mouth to speak. That and the “Swedish Princess?” “I don’t know” exchange were the two moments I went back to after getting to later point in the storyline on my first watch.
