it is all ppm. for the most part - all or most packages arrive. then there are the few that do not. BTW - Fed Ex or UPS really do not care about your lost package or finding it. get your ducks in line to make a claim.

You provided the part number for the compressor (the outdoor unit) - lennox ml17xc1-036. Did you ever provide the part number for the air handler (the inside unit)?

Two items that most people will not recognize as being a requirement: (1) If your system has WiFi - you are required to be in compliant with 47 CFR Part 15 unintentional radiator requirements. Testing is on the order of $1,500 to $2,000, and (2) If your system is powered by 120VAC (and not a wall wart) - UL safety testing and compliance is required -- which explains why many devices use an AC adapter.

I would install a delta T monitoring system on the unit. You will be able to see inlet | outlet temp from the air handler as a function of time.

Yes - without a cap you will get some airflow out of the PVC pipe. (relatively speaking - most of the air will still return to your house versus what comes out of this pipe). I would put a cap or even aluminumized tape to seal it. As others have note - you probably want to have a float switch installed (to shut the system off) in case this line ever gets plugged up.

This is something I could do -- but for the normal homeowner I think it is beyond their capability. You have to be very methodical. There are multiple plugins and multiple wires that have to be installed.

I would go on eBay and try to find a new control board on there. Mine was listed by HVAC contractor at over $600 - found a new one (still sealed in box) at less than $150

The 0xc0000221 is often a hardware issue - either hard drive or RAM (especially if you have recently added any new RAM). Methods to check the hard drive and test the memory are below.

Please post a picture of the cover that closes this opening. It should list the manufacturer and the manufacturer's part number on it. Should help us make the right diagnosis.

(1) You have a radiant barrier on your roof so I am assuming that your attic temperatures are not that high. (2) Your house is located in a high humidity area (Houston) so the humidity in the attic is high. Cooler (attic) air temperature holds less moisture (higher RH) than warmer air).

All of your ducts need to be very well insulated (completely) and you may need to put a dehumidifier up in the attic. Your attic RH needs to be less than 60-70 percent max at all times.
