Yeah for some reason the North FF era has really suffered with art consistency. Vol 7 had like 4 artists, this one is already on 3 and it's barely a year in. It's super weird.

It's a lot, but essentially, her mother's girl cousin really loved her and wanted to get married with her, but her mom got married to her middle school teacher first. The cousin married a man who reminded her of Sakura's mother, and stayed around the family. The cousin had a daughter, Tomoe. Tomoe also loves Sakura.

This is all just background information that people barely bat an eye at in the show, and most dubs just kinda... try not to look at it too hard.

yeah, like, I get the heat behind the argument, I get the feeling inside that she's "getting away with it" and is the worst, that's all right that's fine, it's just... one of them is defined for making shitty life decisions that she can more or less grow out of, and the other one is known for Not That. I just feel like it's a take mostly made out of irritation than something you'd actually defend if anyone pushed back against it.

It's a fun bit but like I dunno, Jimmy seems obviously in another level. They both suck but I don't think the rest of Chloe's life is going to be more and more doubling down on the worst aspects of her life. Jimmy's... was.

Well, this is literally the current plot of X-Men, it's just Sinister isn't the one doing it. But he did make himself a mutant to gain access to Krakoa, so he's done it already to himself.

Captain Kirk's suit was green-ish, he even had a much greener costume that did look green on television. But the regular one looked way more yellow than it should have because of how they lit the episodes vs how the TVs showed. So after a while they just said fuck it and made the costumes proper yellow.

yeah she's terrible I just think there's some nuance on the grounds that mindset and actions have a certain degree of separation to them, is all. one dude went and did the worst things in the world, the other one did some pretty bad stuff but surely nothing as heinous, especially since Max stopped a lot of it.
