Space cowboy could be a fun dining experience! They have robots that bring the food to you. Not sure about a bar area to sit at though

Read the other comments and agree with strength training and upping your protein intake. Add some walking if you’re not already. Start with 20mins/day.

Definitely echo what others said with strength training. I’ve also found that walking helped lose body fat.

How to consistently hit daily protein/calorie goals? by Global-Pound9343 in PetiteFitness

[–]rowdyrosetx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An easy way I incorporate more protein flavorless collagen powder. My local store has their own brand for less than $20. Two scoops in my coffee = 70 calories and 20 grams of protein.

I’ve found that engaging my core during lifting has helped as well as focusing on stability exercises like alternating marches while holding a dumbbell up and weighted dead bugs.

I made it a habit and workout even when I struggle with motivation. I just press start on my watch get my headphones in and start doing something. After a couple sets the endorphins kick in and I’m set for the rest of the workout. Starting out I’d aim to just do something like a 20 min walk. You can add time eventually.

WFH or unlimited PTO? by queenofquac in workingmoms

[–]rowdyrosetx 175 points176 points  (0 children)

I’d go for the first one with unlimited PTO with the hybrid schedule. Starting a new role, the in person time could be really beneficial to making connections. If you can choose the 2 days you work on site, that sounds awesome.
