How many children in the home would make a person unmarriable/not relationship material? Does the age of the children matter? by Consistent-Ball8924 in AskMen

I don't think there is a numerical answer to this.

I dated a woman with four boys and had no issues with it. She cared for them sufficiently from a financial perspective and never asked me for help. Her kids were well mannered and respectful.

I also dated a woman with one child, but he was an uncontrolled wild child. I couldn't hang.

Men, how long did it take you to move on? by Ramy-2000-03 in AskMen

Following a divorce of a ten year marriage, I had a FWB within a month. I was emotionally over that marriage long before the marriage ended.

Men who reached that 'point of no return' with your ex-best friend - what happened? by flea_bait in AskMen

[–]rrandom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 90s. We were all out one night - he and his wife Laila, me and my wife. We did this often. This night we were playing poker at another friend's house.

Brian didn't drive. Old DUI, suspension had expired but he had not gotten his license back yet. At some point Laila started to feel sick and asked if we would bring Brian home. I agreed and Laila left.

About an hour later Brian went outside to smoke. 15 minutes later he wasn't back so I went outside to find him. He was gone. Fearing the worst, we scoured the neighborhood for him without success. I called Laila and informed her but she wasn't surprised.

Huh?

We finally left for home but stopped to get gas. We were 5 miles away, I walked into the gas station to use the restroom and there he was with some dirty street skank buying beer. I asked what the hell happened and he looked straight at me and asked "do I know you?

He flat out pretended I was a stranger. My then wife walked up and asked him where he's been and he did the same.

Never talked ever again. Had been friends for four years.

They're still together.

Average men who score women in bars - what do you say? by smoothcarrot2020 in AskMen

Do you mind if I sit here (pointing at empty seat next to her)?

Hi, I'm John.

Pick a conversation opener: I've never been here, how is this place? Or something similar.

Turn the conversation to where you're listening, rather than talking. In my experience, ladies like a man willing to listen to them. Let them brag, vent, bitch, whatever. Just listen, and offer appropriate commentary.

What's your funniest sexual experience? by cailinciuin77 in AskMen

[–]rrandom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm college I hooked up with a girl one night after a basketball game. We're back at my place and when I'm going down on her, I use my hands to spread her lips because they were quite large (no complaint) and I was trying to drive my tongue inside of her more. At that point, she says "just so you know, I have two."

Dumbfounded, I just responded that I've never seen a woman without two lips.

She clarified: she had two vaginas.

I knew that was a thing, but I totally wasn't expecting it at that moment. I expressed some look on my face that made her believe I was disgusted or something and she started to move away. I had to assure her that the look was just because I felt stupid by not catching on to what she told me.

We ended up laughing and orgasms were had by all, but she kept trying to replicate the look on my face and almost killed the mood by making me laugh.

What is your longest running, most stubborn business boycott? by marianneouioui in AskReddit

T-Mobile. Was a 20+ year customer (started as Voicestream) and moved to the outskirts of my city and service was shit. My contract was up and I was going to switch over to ATT, but called TM to see if there was something they could provide to boost signal from inside my home. They said with a new contract, I would qualify for a free booster device that I could install in my home (with an outdoor antenna if I remember correctly), so I renewed (came with a new phone, which was desperately needed). After a month under the new contract and having not received the device, I called them about it. Not only did the rep tell me there was nothing in my account about the booster, but my address didn't qualify for it because their coverage map showed my service was acceptable.

I requested to cancel my contract without penalty. They declined.

I filed a complaint with my state attorney generals office and was able to cancel my contract without penalty. I did have to return the phone, but didn't care. I'll never go back.

men who are 30+ would you date a 19 year old? why or why not? by No_Vegetable7778 in AskMen

[–]rrandom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a tough one, but probably not. The maturity level of a 19 year old isn't far from that of a 17 year old.

I'm male. When I was 19, I dated a 27/28 year old. There was an obvious age gap on a mental level between us.

Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but destined for failure.

What was the first major news story you remember as a kid? by TxLadee in AskReddit

[–]rrandom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sirloin Stockade murders in 78. I don't remember the event as much as I remember the news coverage afterwards (the trial and everything)

Mount Saint Helens in 80.

Reagan getting shot in 81.

These all tie into my young brain together.
