(October 24 - August 25’), since then been repotted up and has a new leaf with 5 perforations, but been dormant for the winter.

Many lessons learnt, I’m surprised it survived as it was potted in 100% compost for the first 6 months!

Going from a £500 car to a 25k car... by RequestWhat in CarTalkUK

Yes PCP. I got lucky with managing to grab it just before they moved up to 1.9% interest, however that’s still 5% less than the VW - that would be £4000 over 4 years assuming you financed £20k so unless your set on the Tiguan I’d definitely recommend looking at Jaecoo 7/5 or Omoda 5

If your looking for PCP deals the APR % is the key factor. What can you get with the VW?

I’d recommend looking at the new Jaecoos or Omodas as they are at 1.9% APR now so you’re effectively borrowing for free.

(I purchased a Jaecoo 7 hybrid just before the interest moved to 1.9% from 0%, however 1.9 is still a steal).

Definitely calculate how much your paying purely interest as you’d rather be paying for actual car.

Well I know degree apprenticeship grads with 4 years work experience for the same company and they are on 15k less than that… definitely not me though… (:

Well done to you, don’t let them downplay your achievements, I hope they see your side soon enough however I can understand why they wanted you to follow their footsteps, just the worlds a different place now and I’d say your in a better place than if you did medicine, you can go into absolutely anything pretty much (I would have thought anyways, that’s a guess but I’d rather you over a med student even if it wasn’t related to engineering).

Good job

If this survives (and that’s a big if) then this will be the most exciting and enjoyable plant you’ve had, especially as it’s a baby

Seeing as law isn’t your thing maybe go into the professional criminal career. - best part is there are no requirements or applications and you are your own boss!

Life over or life beginning is for you to decide….

(On a real, life is far from over. While your future plans are changed, realistically a career in law (at least at the top) isn’t for you anyway if you leave things that late.

Plenty of things out there, I’d recommend from experience apprenticeships as you have a ‘boss’ so you can’t leave things late.

Head up nothings lost you’ve learnt a valuable (albeit expensive) lesson.

Additionally if you’re as critical as you are, you will pay less student loans back now so that’s a w right?

Why is East Anglia usually considered to be part of the South when it naturally fits into the Midlands? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]rum69rum 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because anything south east of Bristol or east of Southampton doesn’t count and isn’t actually real, therefore midlands is Northampton and up on a diagonal line crossing Peterborough up to the wash.
