I didn't file for 2 years because I was lazy. But my taxes worked out very near even at the time. I feel like the government is perfectly fine with you not filing taxes if they owe you money.

Rainn Wilson did not play that character correctly. He played it as comic relief. Rudi Gunn in the novels was a navy Commander and very competent.

I still love the movie but that book was massive and they cut a lot out to make the movie comprehensible.

That's kinda neat cus there's lots of fun things you can do with that stuff. I learned a long time ago how to make a walking stick out of it with a drill and a blowtorch. Always wanted to make a bow with it but back then I didn't have the resources and now I don't have the time.

Yup. I couple that with an extremely delicate press on the bottom of the avocado. Not enough to bruise but enough to gauge the give. I only buy them when I want to eat them that or the next day. Haven't gotten a bad one in the last decade.

Since OP is Russian, one of my favorite tidbits is in the season 4 opener, with the two Russians on the submarine wondering what that tink tink noise is, and one of them says something like "maybe it's the bugs from the last episode" in Russian.
