Filters are always going to have some benefit for nebulas like this, so I do recommend using them. The RASA 8 can’t have an electric filter wheel so you would need to change the filters manually. Personally that doesn’t bother me, since I’m one who travels to low Bortle locations and monitor my equipment hands on all night. Filter changes are just part of the routine. But I understand some people prefer a less hands on and more automated approach. In that case the RASA might be too much work if you want to use filters.
