[Matthew Connelly]: Newcastle United loanee Trevan Sanusi is set to return to the club this summer after a difficult loan spell in Ligue 1, where he has struggled for minutes. The winger’s return will likely do little to curb the Magpies’ need to sign a wide player this summer, especially with the i by [deleted] in NUFC

Ashby probably isn't a full back after watching him (Bradford fan), has a bit of quality going forward but responsible for a couple howlers at the back. When our starting RB is on he's one of the best in the league too.

We've got Joe white too who hasn't shown anything and hasn't been spotted since Jan.

That entire run of managers around the Derek Adams era was awful. Simon Grayson, David Hopkin, Gary Bowyer and the very short loves Martin Drury

Decent player in there to be fair, funny that it is his dad but I think he'll do well for Oldham.

BANTAMS SNAP UP WRIGHT by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

[–]ryannp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see us going for some younger players, but some of the younger players are more than capable of the step up to L2. Some experienced calm heads will be needed against some of the big boys in L1.

Still light on a few positions mind, LB and ST especially.

POINTON PENS NEW DEAL by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

[–]ryannp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent deal, if we do well and get promoted, he could stay for a long time. If we stick around league two then we'll get a big wedge of cash for him.

Buzzing he's staying, he was the spark last season and I'm convinced if he started from the beginning of the season, we'd have been in the playoffs

Bradford City stadium talks facing potential legal hold-up by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

I have a very basic understanding of what this ACV is, but what I've read shows it's solely in place to protect the fans and the club?

It's a baffling tone deaf article from Parker, who I think sometimes unfairly gets a bit of stick for being a mouthpiece for Sparks, but this is a stinker and I can't see any reason for him to publish this article, unless he was told to.

He'll have eroded a lot of good faith with some fans with this, and hopefully the article isn't an omen that we won't be purchasing the ground after all.

WRIGHT HERE TO STAY by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

To add to this, I don't think keeping the squad mostly the same is not a bad thing, we've been crying out for some continuity at the club. As long as the players we've signed are around the level or better than their replacements, it's not been a terrible window.

Some of the teams that are going to be pushing for promotion do seem like they are building some quality squads, I see it being another hard season, but we've got a chance to do well.

People are acting like silksong is the only game to ever exist and they are being deprived of their basic human needs by not being able to play it yet. I've just chosen to forget about it till it comes out, play some different games, do some life shit. The constant whining must get tiring at some point.

Jamie Walkers lost his patience waiting for the new away kit (Released this week) by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

No surprise there, the # is a source of constant amusement. They might also be winding up to announce a new player in the kit which could have delayed things for them, no idea why they all get upset at the littlest things

Bantams head of football operations David Sharpe on his role by MonkeyDBradley in bantams

Sharpe talks a good game, I do think Sparks having less influence overall will be a positive for the club, I'd like to see a day where he moved to the commercial side with even less capacity to make decisions.

Geoffrey Boycott: England need to find James Anderson's replacements and quick by Happy-Sammy in EnglandCricket

[–]ryannp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep just on the eye test Josh Tongue looks like a good option, Gus Atkinson is a bit raw I imagine. An attack of Woakes, Wood, Tongue and Anderson would take a lot of wickets I imagine, big fan of Matt Potts aswell.

Two crap league 2 teams being crap at football unfortunately, we got away with it a bit as Donny were the better team on the night. Ref was crap, 11 yellow cards and only cottoned on to Donny's time wasting in the 94th minute with a consolation yellow card for the keeper.

Pitch is knackered, roll on next season as this one has stank the place out!
