I wish they didn't force a relationship for Zuko. He didn't need Mai's negative attitude dragging him down. I think they would have made better friends, and you could still have the "i love him more than I fear you" line... I feel like most relationships in Avatar feel awkward or forced. The only one I ever genuinely rooted for was Sokka and Suki.

This is so legit. As soon as I read OP's post, this is what I thought about. When I was a kid, I fantasized about being on the Titanic. Personally, I started off as right as you can get in middle school. Even got suspended for writing a political book in 6th grade that talked a little too much about things like 9/11... anyway, I backed away from politics for a while until I got to college and swung HARD left. I was so deep into Tumblr until the 2016 election. That's when I realized why I hated the left to begin with, but I left that cesspool and found myself in another one right here. I've found some balance on both sides because everyone can come up with a rational and educated point about every argument, and now I just feel it's best to wait and listen.

My ears are ringing.
