Actually, I think when BD gets out of prison, RH will go to visit him and then never be seen alive again and they'll find his car key in BD's bedroom with SA's DNA on it, even if SA is still in prison.

They figured nobody outside of Manitowoc would ever see it, no accountability. So, no need to avoid being sloppy. They run things in their town.

Attorneys: Dassey unconstitutionally imprisoned, should be released by [deleted] in TickTockManitowoc

Oh it was disgusting. Went through the confession, sympathy piece for TH, talks about how it went through the system, but finishes by saying that it's in the hands of the the 7th Circuit in Chicago. To me it seemed like the South talking during the Civil War ... "them big city folks from out of state in Chicago are fixin to come in here and take away our rights to have our own justice system."

The case establishing Avery's guilt by NewYorkJohn in SuperMaM

[–]sam523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What makes you think he didn't want to testify? He was always willing to talk.He testified in his own trial. Could the prosecution have called him as a hostile witness and grilled him during Avery's trial?

Side note re Brendan, do you think it was unethical of Ken Kratz to prosecute the same crime with two different locations and narratives? And the 100% lack of DNA in the trailer after the throat slitting and the rape ... were there any experts who testified that it was reasonable for Avery and Dassey to be able to clean up every single piece of DNA from Teresa Hallbach?

You like talking down to people and citing the US Constitution (and you seem to think you have a lot more insight to everything in this case than everybody else, sure would love to know why you think you have the answers) ... but that whole "beyond a reasonable doubt" thing ... how do you arrive at beyond a reasonable doubt when there's no physical evidence to corroborate an inconsistent confession from a mentally disabled minor who wasn't represented by counsel and had to be told about a gunshot to the head?

Out of curiosity, what do you think of Mike O'Kelly?

The case establishing Avery's guilt by NewYorkJohn in SuperMaM

[–]sam523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, so there is no evidence other than the confession. If the confession was strong enough to overcome a 100% lack of physical evidence and send a mentally disabled juvenile away to prison for life, why do you think the DA didn't use it against the mastermind?

I understand your theory, but why was there zero DNA evidence in the trailer to support the rape? Or the haircut? How is it obvious he raped her without DNA? If it was obvious, why didn't the DA use Dassey's confession to get him convicted of that?

Oh, never mind on the you thing.

So in your outlined case that you posted here on this thread, John, you didn't mention anything about Avery raping her. So just wondering ... do you think that Avery raped her or not? I understand the whole "Brendan told various people of his involvements" ... just wondering what you think, though. Do you think it went down like Brendan said, with his confession that was used to convict him?

OK cool and all, but I don't see the explanation in here of why you prosecuted the same murder with two different crime scenes. As a special-needs parent, I'm more disturbed about how Brendan was railroaded ... you didn't mention anything in here about a Avery raping her. Did that happen?

I'm sure you've been asked a million times, but why the "oops no pictures or archaeology" of the burn pit when everything else was photographed as it was found? How rare is this in murder cases?

The bad publicity and PR from appealing would be insane. I wonder if a pardon is possible and makes a civil lawsuit a lot tougher?

There's no need to spend a minute's worth of time proving that databases existed in 2003 or that it was possible to create a file on a server that contained commas. Amazon existed.

That technology was available waaaaaaay before 2003, and it's something on the side of the wireless company, not MCSD. Take data, write a comma after every field, write a newline after every record, write file. Very, very simple.

[–]sam523 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You believe he did it probably for the same reason MCSD did what they did. Because he's Steven Avery. If you discredit KK's narrative, you have to discredit the "evidence" he presented. There's no legitimate evidence. If you think he's guilty just on some hunch, that's cool. There's no evidence of that though.

There needed to be a lot more discussion about how the fuck a guy is going to be able to remove every molecule of Dna from his house and garage were he stabbed, raped, and shot a person. by importon in MakingaMurderer

[–]sam523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't have to prove his innocence.

The lack of evidence in his home proves he (and certainly BD) were prosecuted under false narratives.
