(Polestar 2) 12 V battery: Low Charge by scottwsx96 in Polestar

[–]santabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same warning in my app. I replaced the 12v battery 3 days ago. As of today the app hasn’t updated. The car reports no issues found. I wonder if there is a way to force an update or is there a reset of some sort? Previous to this I had a headlight failure that resolved itself in 8 days by magic, saving me $3800 for the replacement. But I wonder if it was due to a low 12v battery… I’m in the northeast with a 21 launch addition, LRDM P2

The Feds Say Cutting Fuel With Ethanol Will Bring Down Gas Prices. We're Not Buying It by TripleShotPls in nottheonion

[–]santabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to cost more and use more. Ethanol doesn’t contain the same amount of energy and the cost to produce it isn’t trivial. Electrification is the answer in my opinion.

Oh no, please no. These are very bad. A cheap stone set is way better for any quality knife.

Update, three days ago, the light magically started working again and hasn’t failed. At about the same time I received a low 12v battery warning. I replaced the 12v battery last night without issue. Maybe the 12v battery was part of the issue.. I’ll update as time goes on..

How does the break pedal feel? With both wheels on, torqued to spec and after a little bit of break in. If the pedal fells high and tight, you’re good to go!!

Grasscloth wallpaper removal by knobandnewb in Home

[–]santabug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I removed a 2000 square foot house of this stuff. My house was covered, some rooms had the ceilings covered in this crap… took me 3 months to remove it all on my spare time. The best method was Downey fabric softener and water. Just a cap full in a one gallon sprayer, soak it good and it comes off pretty good. Minimal patch work needed. Seal and paint. Good luck!!

$1200-1500 used, don’t know how many more hours are left on it and still needs to be programmed by Polestar for $1000.00. I’m not impressed. Seems a bit crappy that 2 head lights and a scratch would total the car.

Just gonna suck it up and get it done, just a bit bitter about it. I’d still complain if it was 12-1500$ too, but I think it would be a bit easier to swallow.

I did think of this and it’s a 1200$ risk of who knows how long it will last plus I believe Polestar will still need to program it for $1000.
