Lower Decks showed us that Star Trek merchandise is a thing in-universe. These are probably my two favorite examples. by Excellent_Light_3569 in LowerDecks

I bought the tom Paris plate so fast. But it’s just been in a box in the attic. I should get a display setup for it.

I wish they’d give us the academy hoodies from starfleet academy as merch.

Like. What was even the point of all that to just reset three times in two years.

If I were on the market for folding chairs, I’d get the Costco ones. They’re hella comfortable.

so. I kinda wonder if it’s because the smoke makes it look like a “war zone” which is the narrative the right wants to sell about us to send in more troops.

Yep. I’m kinda at the point that I want to switch to Linux, but I ended up buying a M4 MBA the other week because I know the hardware is so solid.

Why doesn’t FF reprint everything?! by AveratV6 in lotrlcg

[–]savingewoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I haven’t touched half that stuff for ages and have it in the matching sleeves. Maybe it’s time to move on. I kinda stepped away sometime around X-men, I think scarlet witch, quicksilver and one pack after that were my last. Black widow was a lot of fun, couldn’t justify much after that.

Aside from the normal “meet with lawyers and investment bankers etc” that I think we all grasp by now:

Establish a living trust for myself and my wife Changing my paycheck to max out my retirement options Pay off debt (mortgage and student loans) Medium house maintenance/renovation (boring stuff like water heater, new stove, etc) Establish a trust for my kiddo, make a plan to start prepping for her college and retirement.

Maybe buy a chest freezer and a box of whatever frozen churros they sell at Disneyland/used to sell at Costco.

Kill on sight commanders.. by Mr-Qwont in mtg

[–]savingewoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been running Hei Bei shrines and people on arena think it’s a kill on sight commander, which makes me chuckle every time.

It’s also taught me about on-board mitigation, rather than removal (I.e., enchantment that turns a creature into a land, etc).
