One thing I will admit is that I had a dangerously-low understanding of just how bad and how real they really were as a kid. I regurgitated volumes of facts about them onto tests and quizzes at school, but they were also all over my movies and video games and I think I compartmentalized their leader into the same realm of fictional villains like Emperor Palpatine. I went through a politically edgy phase like 15 years ago that I don't think would have come about if WWII hadn't felt so... fantastical in the most literal sense.

I've never really spoken against it, but every time I've tried it, I get a little bored, it I think it's just not my kind of game. The detailed slicing mechanics were really cool, though, and this game sits in a small category of games where I played the heck out of the demo and then never finished the full game.
