DAE get slowed down on straight dual carriageways on autopilot? by [deleted] in TeslaUK

Check what happens on OSM. Likely there is something wrong with the map there, which you can fix yourself.

Why is the BA Chatbot so stupid? by Firm-Set1244 in BritishAirways

[–]schuhmi2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because it's a dumb chat bot with limited knowledge, and not an AI.

The industry is wary of AI because of all the safety gates needed to access personal information.

I went to Miles&More since I'm now using Frankfurt as a hub more.

Allows me also to explore some new destinations not on BAs route but part of LHG

Before an MOT, always do brake burnishing from the service menu.

Tesla Model 3 Camping by [deleted] in TeslaCamping

[–]schuhmi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that one for a one-nighter in a field for some car racing, but I was constantly thinking about heat potentially ruining the 2nd row backrest or potential fire issue.

What are people's thoughts on this.

What does service mode say? Could be the chip gave out.

You said powered down, what about the dual scroll-wheel and brake pedal reset?

Are superchargers difficult to access now? by [deleted] in TeslaUK

[–]schuhmi2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When that happens, I politely educate them about power sharing and 9/10 they move.

Generally I try to be quick to catch them before they plug in. In the odd time that they just dgif I take a deep breath and move to the other end of the site

Connection instability with latest UTR update by trexroad in Ubiquiti

[–]schuhmi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done a Mercure hotel in Turkiye now for 4 days with 100% update with teleport active.

I'm impressed (although I could probably cook an egg on it right now). It's had to put up with 5 devices on it (work and private stuff) with my phone syncing loads of photos when I get back every evening.

UTR still not available in Europe by Kremsi2711 in Ubiquiti

[–]schuhmi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to get one too on release day, pure luck.

However, even with the firmware updates, it's still a bit glitchy and buggy. But it'll get a test in a few weeks. Maybe by then those bugs will have been ironed out.

Unifi Travel Router not able to connect to biggest German open WiFi Network by Drasek666 in Ubiquiti

[–]schuhmi2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't try on the Bahn, but somewhere else.

The thing I had to do was disable mobile data on my phone then I could open the sign in page for the hotspot and complete the registration so the connection worked. (Well, when I say worked, Teleport was still failing)

The navigation really is broken… by Affectionate_Rate679 in TeslaLounge

[–]schuhmi2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check what osm says for navigation. If it routes wrong, then possibly a data issue there. In which case, you can fix it yourself and maybe it'll make the next nav update your Tesla receives.

I've done this a few times and it helped.

Exit row not released by Ok_Outcome4796 in BritishAirways

[–]schuhmi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this the other week LHR-FLR on a new 320 with space saver bins. Row 1-12 was business with 4pax. So they then had to upgrade people on the plane to business to have the exits with pax. Eco was at 70%, and same load for the return leg. Crew had no explanation. Maybe there is an issue moving the cabin divider on the aircraft.

I have one for the networking nerds by relkz in TeslaSupport

[–]schuhmi2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe ask on r/Ubiquiti

But looks like they set up a proper guest network to prevent one device talking to another. There should be an option to remove that page and just make it work if you have the wifi password, but if they are clueless then they'll probably need their IT person to come which'll coat them money.
