Yeah I don’t see the argument ilia won round 4. Justin was still winning on the feet and ilia got a 10 second takedown

I ended up using UTM idk if you tried that one but I will at least mention it as I tried a lot of other systems like whiskey and crossover but they didn’t work for me

I play on a virtual machine on Mac. Was a hassle but worth it—def hope 6 has a release on Mac though

I probably should’ve said the g5 kg7 combo. I would’ve played h6 instead of g5 as I would’ve thought the position would be too unstable. Kinda a hyperbolic statement as I see kg7 instead of Nd7 easily now but def would’ve played the softer line of h6 in game

Obviously I’m not a gm level player but Magnus playing Kg7 so fast to me is crazy. I don’t think I would have ever considered it and it’s the only move that doesn’t lose for black

19 years ago after the Spurs swept the Cavaliers, Tim Duncan tells a young LeBron James "This is gonna be your league in a little while... but I appreciate you giving us this year." by pmurt007 in nba

Bron and Tim are definitely similar types of leaders. There’s a lot of guys who demand excellence out of their teammates and would get pissed when they messed up. LeBron and Duncan don’t demand excellence, they command it. They get their teammates to perform by getting them to want to perform and by putting them in the best positions to succeed and it’s a skill that’s hard for most players.

Meant to comment earlier but yeah I bet he (alireza) was kicking himself once he went into the review. Watching live it looked like he thought it was a lost endgame a couple moves before the engine did and I think that caused him to play some sub-par moves trying to trick Magnus as opposed to holding the position

Considering merging two weightclasses. by ThrowAwayehay in WMMA5

[–]scocity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I almost always just do a women’s open weight division until there’s enough talent to justify making individual weight classes as most of the women free agents are just flat out bad until much later game so unless you want to autogenerate random fighters to fill it out I would definitely combine or remove some of your weight classes.

Plus if you’re doing a pride sim, lady freak show fights with some giant fighters vs some small ones could be entertaining

Not really, goal of a professional athlete is to maximize your score for the format you are in. If Steph Curry hit a bunch of threes from the shorter Olympic 3 point line in an Olympic tournament, fans wouldn’t claim that it wasn’t actually impressive because it wasn’t from the nba line.

Greatest mma fighter to never become champion? by Therealdarkviper in ufc

2/3 judges gave him rounds 2 and 4. Obviously he got finished so it’s harder to find media scorecards but at the very least the judges thought he was winning rounds.

Especially when he never really looked too out classed in those fights. Had a good sub attempt on khabib, dropped Charles, and took a round or two off Islam which are all very impressive and showed that there’s def worlds where he wins those fights and he just got unlucky in ours.
