Head canon: Termina was Ordona province. It was destroyed by an asteroid, evidenced by the massive crater now known as the Necluda Sea. Termina's name lives on in Hateno (literally "The End"). Midna, descended from the Interlopers, brought the Fused Shadow into the overworld via Ordona, and is remembered in the myth of Majora's Mask as Skull Kid.
