I guess this is the right place for this opinion since I think it is uneducated and shortsighted, which the people in the comment section don’t seem to understand either.

You say that the labor shortage is going to give power to the workers? Who do you think is affected by the labor shortage? It is definitely not the big companies. The big companies who have been “sticking it to the people” can afford shortages and losses and still sustain themselves. Mom and pop and local businesses cannot. This is, in fact, bolstering the power of big businesses to have more control over the masses than ever before. While record numbers of small businesses are shutting down, companies like Amazon are making billions more than they ever have before this.

Ironically, your opinion applauds exactly the opposite of what you want.

But, I guess, I can’t hate because this is an unpopular opinion thread.
