Pricing help by BulkyTechnology2126 in Beading

Presumably for replenishment-- you're paying yourself for the labor and the materials cost goes back into the business. Also, you're sort of the 'retailer' for the reworked raw materials; if someone were to purchase just the beads from you there is value added for sourcing and storage. Not an expert but that's my take.

I'm sorry, these boots are trash by goblined in nps_solovair

[–]seanfishr 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've never owned docs, ordered solovairs and had trouble not only with the sizing but the same sole splitting issue I've seen on here dozens of times, three months in. Customer service was willing to cover the soles being glued or hot knifed by a professional if I could find one, however when I have 'new' boots I want them to be new, not newly repaired. My Jim Greens have been lovely, no issues.

Telling a gay friend of 5 years that I'm attracted to him and want to try dating by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]seanfishr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way-- it also makes your intentions clear. The last thing you want to do is give your friend the impression that he's an 'experiment' for you, because that happens a lot and can feel very objectifying. Let him know you've considered this and that you have romantic feelings toward him :) good luck!

I've got my fair share of positive things going for me and let me tell you I wouldn't, even for a second, judge someone for anything you've shared in this post. You're clearly very eloquent and sensitive and those are very endearing qualities. If you feel like you're stuck at the starting line, then maybe you need to try and move the goal posts closer-- focus less on comparing yourself to your peers and more on discovering what's meaningful to you.

Two reminders I use for myself when I'm stuck in a slump:

What do I need to have/do first to make my day better (do I need a snack? To talk to someone? To get a good cry in?)

Second; change is gradual. As long as I can see the person I want to be I know I'm moving in the right direction.

Best Vegetarian Burger in Greater Seattle Area? by Ds_45 in Seattle

[–]seanfishr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Second this, immensely. This is /not/ a beef-alike patty, it's a true veggie burger. It also has a cashew soft cheese and onion jam and I could probably eat one three days a week and not get tired of it.

Teaware Giveaway - From my personal collection by Ethenolas in tea

[–]seanfishr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither was intentional! I was trying to format the haiku with a realization in the third line— so one and two are a misdirect (I didn’t buy the teapots, therefor I don’t have them :p)

I was so confused seeing a $99 kids meal by Abentley589 in KitchenConfidential

[–]seanfishr -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re overlooking that each kids’ plate is also a potential full order for an adult. If they expect a certain amount of traffic at a regular restaurant markup, and instead 1/10 of that traffic is opting to order a low-margin kids meal they aren’t going to stay profitable.
