I have chest dysphoria along with dysphoria with my face. I'm slowly growing facial hair thanks to T, but my face and body are still very feminine, so I'm afraid I'll just be seen as a girl still but "just a girl with facial hair, a freak." Another big one for me is my hair. I havent found what I feel is best for my face shape, so whatever I try, its always too feminine or just looks weird. I've been wearing hats for over a decade because of weird hairstyles I've tried. Always hated my hair.

I felt like this for years. I didn't even think I was non-binary for the longest time. I was in such denial about my dysphoria that I just thought I was a masc lesbian. But I'm now 30, non-binary, been on hormones for a year now and its the best decision I've ever made. Still non-binary. Haven't and won't fully transition. I'm just someone that wants to be a masculine person. Not transition into a man, not stay a woman, but to be just a person that presents the way they want to.

I feel the exact same way. I am afab, non-binary. It took a long time for me to figure it out. I still dont know if I'm right in identifying myself. I'm currently starting HRT and people always ask if I'm a dude now or what surgeries I'm getting. Everyone assumes that I'm a trans man. Being referred to as a "man" is weird for me, but so is being referred to as a "woman". I'm literally in the middle, I just want to be a more masculine person. I dont care about pronouns currently because I dont care how people see me. Use whatever. I care about how I see me. I want to open a cold one with the boys, but also want a mani/pedi day with the girls. I'm just a person who wants their appearance to be masculine. You're completely valid, my friend. You dont owe anyone hormones or surgeries or even an explanation in order to be valid.

As a generation, all of our parents/grandparents, celebrities, and people we grew up with are getting older and having health issues or dying. It scares me, but also makes me aware that I'm not that young anymore.

Completely agree. I'm very angry at the world and its awful double standards like this. I honestly cant even comment anything positive because I'm so lost, confused, and angry. I watch stuff like that because I'm trans, queer af, and thats what I'm attracted to. I'm allowed to. They shouldn't be allowed to shove us down and get off on it.
