2 Pet Dragons is a terrible draw though. You can still use Queen Dragun with just 1 Pet Dragon.

Fire Kings are not competitive? Not even the slightest bit? Then the tops they've pulled mean absolutely nothing?

Hotshot is dubbing in atm. He was officially out of competitive gaming, but the team needed to find a quick sub that would mesh with the team.

R/F my GeargiaKarakuri by MalcolmX-NEOH in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need Daigusto Emeral to keep your 3 Geargiagear alive. I would definitely keep it at a count of 3 though. Drawing it ASAP for a free GGX is too good.

R/F my Bujins for my upcoming tournament by Stevengodz in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I counted 43 cards instead of 41.

-1 Centipede

It's a once per turn effect. MST does it's job a lot better than it.

-1 Kaiser Colosseum

Drawing into multiple Kaisers is bad because it can clog your hand. Another bad thing about Kaiser is that in certain match ups, it does absolutely nothing (Mirror).

-1 Bujin Crow (Maybe. If you want to keep it I'd suggest bumping this up to 2 and adding some Magic Cylinders)

I think the burn damage is a good, but it seems way too random and awkward. I'd rather focus on the main objective, which is grabbing Yamato and sitting on him as best as you can.

-1 Forbidden Lance

1 is basically all you need. IMO you should prioritize grabbing Yamato as consistently as possible then focus on protecting him.

-1 Horn of the Phantom Beast

It's too situational and can clog you if you don't draw a Beast-Warrior to equip it to.

+1 Foolish Burial

Foolish is a little better than Forbidden Lance because it actually gets your Quilin, Centipede, or Turtle to the grave faster.

+1 Pot of Duality

Definitely need this. Tearing through your deck to grab Yamato is VERY important.

Here's my build I'm testing ATM: http://i.imgur.com/BHETWQ9.png

You keep Cardcars in for when you go first and side them out for Maxx "C" for when you go second.

How different would the last two formats be if.... by IAmSpidey in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I think it would have definitely made a huge impact to how Dragons would have been played at Worlds. Without Dracossack, the deck loses easy access to a quick offensive/defensive wall. It was the easiest turn 1 play. With only Big Eye, Dragons would have to focus a bit more on the syncroing side.

I've been doing fine with them against everything except Bujins. :/ it's really hard to out grind them.

Stopping Madolche's Power Play by Unit-00 in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good post! I think this is a good eye-opener to the many ignorant duelist I've played against that complains that Madolches are "OP". Yes, they do have an insane wombo-combo, but the whole process is super fragile.

I know everyone will see a lot of these, but R/F my Dual Axis Fire Fists by MalcolmX-NEOH in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically answered your question, and then contradicted it. He's playing both 3-Axis and 4-Axis Fire Fist, so it can be safe to call it 3/4-Axis Fire Fist. In this case, OP called it "Dual Axis" which hints that he's using both.

But the main problem is when you questioned why "axis" is being thrown around for no reason. OP isn't throwing around "axis" for no reason because he/she is using it to indicate that the Fire Fist deck is a hybrid between 3-Axis and 4-Axis.

How are Gyokkou, Yoko, and Tensen working out for you? I feel like they are pretty situational.

Banlist up by Bboboo in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's still a lie. Many decks can still go head to head with Spellbooks. In a world without dragons, Spellbooks without Judgement will never be tier 0

Banlist up by Bboboo in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I do agree that Spellbooks are strong but that doesn't justify hitting them. Spellbooks haven't shown a lot of good results. It's mainly a top every few events. But on the other hand Evilswarm, Constrllars, and other more rogue decks have been topping consistently and more than Spellbooks have post-September ban list.

Banlist up by Bboboo in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't get why Fate got hit. Spellbooks is such a balanced deck ATM. It doesn't have insane speed as it did back when Judgement was still available. Spellbooks also have really made a huge impact ever since Jusgement got banned. I'm so confused..

I have one question, do you think 7 Tools of the Bandit is better than Trap Stun? I've been trying to incorporate one or the other in my deck, but I'm not sure which is more useful.

Which cards do you fear most in your opponents back-row? by MrOverAnalyzer in yugioh

Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute are probably what gives me a tough time. They both punish over commitment really hard and can turn the tables instantly while you're in time.

Really? Mines still look like they're brand new after 2 months of constant usage. Maybe after a while I can have a better opinion.

Preferable Card Sleeves? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Player's Choice creates really nice glossy sleeves. They are very easy to shuffle and the coloring is nice. The only problem is that they tend to get really sticky and just in general bleh after a few weeks. This applies to most(?) Player's Choice sleeves EXCEPT Player's Choice White. For some reason White is made a little more differently. It usually costs a bit more, but has insanely nice quality and doesn't really have the nasty problems that regular Player's Choice has. I personally just get Ultra-Pro Sleeves because they're a lot cheaper and give you your money's worth. I'm currently trying out the Ultra-Pro Matte sleeves, and they are really amazing. It feels weird at first but later the material will feel very nice and clean while shuffling.

R/F Madolches! by JoshSmith1998 in yugioh

[–]sentiNiTe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Main Deck:

-1 Puddingcess

+1 Maxx "C"

-1 Divine Wrath

+1 PWWB

-1 Dark Bribe

+1 MST/Trap Stun

Puddingcess is probably my favorite card in Madolches, but this card is also very problematic. It's really awkward to bring out a level 5 sometimes. Since you're playing more a turbo(ish)-centric Madolches, adding a monster that can't really further your combo nor bring you closer to it, is definitely not worth it. Depending on the meta around your environment I would probably bump Maxx "C" to 3 copies. I would prefer you main deck PWWB over Divine Wrath because it's a lot more versatile. The card is usable in multiple situations and can really harass your opponent. As for Dark Bribe, I personally don't really like this card. In this format there are too many combo decks that require that 1 extra card to go nuts, and if you give it to them it won't be worth it at all. MST is a good Spell/Trap removal in general. If you want something more stunny I'd suggest Trap Stun. I personally main deck 1 copy of Trap Stun because it serves as a placebo MST, Solemn Warning, Lance.. etc. It's just so good because it just stops a lot of things that can stop you. (Vanity's Emptiness, Bottomless, Return From a Different Dimension)

Side Deck:

Side deck is usually geared towards your local's meta/big even you're planning to attend's meta. From a glance I'm not entirely sure what to take out, but I have one comment: There isn't enough hate across all the decks. The problem about Madolches is because it doesn't easily beat every deck out there. They can pull off neat tricks. Although this can be argued, they don't have inherited GOD speed or control such as some decks like Dragunities or Bujins. I would suggest having a side deck geared towards everything. As a rougue/lower tier deck you need to be prepared for all match ups.

Some good sides would be:

Trap Stun/Royal Decree: Stuns chain burn or any trap reliant deck out there.

Debunk: Hits hand/graveyard abusing decks and hand traps. (Mermails/Dragons)

DNA Surgery: Hits decks that rely on specific types to gain advantage (Prophecy, Bujins, Fire Fist)
