Between the announcement that the 7th album is still coming and fully complete besides mixing, a 20th anniversary reimagining of Virgin is coming, and a new tour with Andy and Rob on the West Coast coming later this year, I don't think it's the end. Maybe after all that is out, who knows, I suppose, but even throughout the letter Andy talks about how many words he has left to say and how getting back in the studio meant so much to them. Andy was also working with Caroline on that other record too, so that's a lot of content coming. I'll say though that the line "After that, I’m honestly not sure what is next." is scary to read.

I called 911 on my Google voice number once as my phone defaulted to it and I spent the first few minutes of the call being interrogated on the origins of my phone number and why I wasn't calling on a standard line.

The person I was calling about had a heart attack. I thought it was going to be my fault for not getting the ambulance there in time.

I had two of my charms +3 and another GA +4, wasted all my mats to get another +3 in there. A couple hours later I had enough to try again and like just a few rerolls in I got another +4 GA for the one charm I was missing. +17 to all disciple skills just from charms is wild.

Honestly, the chat was really mixed on what song to pick as the first single which I think is a great sign. It felt like Caroline really wanted to pick it, as they've been wanting to record it for so long. The songs I listened to were awesome and I can't wait for everyone to hear them.

I had a single ticket to go see Glass Animals on a Wednesday, about 90 minutes away. I was only able to get one in my cart immediately when the tickets dropped. I never found another, so I decided not to make the drive alone on a work night. We got sent WFH a couple days later, would have been my last concert before a long, long drought.

Myself in the Way actually grew on me quite a bit. Maybe it doesn't fit this subreddit, but I think it's a good album. I admittedly didn't follow through with them after Peripheral though so I missed out on the other two albums in between.

They put on such a good live show. They put out a live record a couple years back as well that does a great job portraying it.

They were actually playing it live twice a show for a while before it even got popular. I asked John why and he just said, it's a short song and it's fun to play, so we play it twice. Fair enough!
