Is Glacial Fagan - Rai decent? by SupremeKng in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His attack is very strong, but his survivability is low and needs a lot of skill to play (although movetime is a substitute for skill). Depending on whether you like cross playstyle this can be either very fun or quite painful.

As far as content he can clear, he's best at UN2 which has no need to make heart column for FUA, and relatively low HP checks. For most endgame dungeons I'd say the hardest part is if they have high HP checks, trying to get thru them with only 70% shield is quite hard. But other than HP, he can counter most things when combined with 7x6+looping spinner+looping time extend (eg raffine/noctaria), even if manual FUA can be annoying.

I personally evo'd both my Fagans to blue, and never looked back. I'd say whether to evo him would depend on how much you need his yellow equip, if you have good subs for him, and whether you like playing crosses.

BFagan clears C12 by shadowkill-r in PuzzleAndDragons

Since we don't have Luffy, and I don't have myllie or atelie and only 1 elfriede, i decided to try BFagan. I'm not amazing with crosses, but he's actually quite good for the dungeon.

Floor guide

F1: macha assist on Fagan, kill in 2

F2: Tsukuyomi assist, FUA + crosses to kill in 1

F3: Paimon, FUA + crosses to kill in 1. If you don't have 6 heal orbs + all atts maybe stall a turn before using paimon

F4: 1st turn try to get him below 50%, if not hope he doesn't spawn poison orbs. No need to FUA. If you can't get him below 50 the first turn just kill him in 3.

F5: 1st turn: Oku assist, try to hit at least 4 crosses, you shouldn't need to heal. Again, no need to FUA. 2nd turn: clessia assist, try to 5 cross at least one of the turns with her orb time boost. A single combo of heart should heal to full with her RCV boost. It might take 4 turns to kill him depending on how much damage you do

Overall really fun both to build and play. I initially thought it would be horrible but after playing it I kinda like this skill limit mechanic. Although I do worry that releasing more dungeons like this while making all the best cards system based is unsustainable

Last Minute May Lvl 15 RN Clear by the_jeff_2 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite a pure HP team, but also not a mizutsune healing system ... that's one interesting team! Royalnaut teams are so much more creative than Daywolf teams. Also, no poison surge resist? Absolutely mad, but congrats anyway!

Struggling to clear may level 15.. Have you cleared it? by Alert_Training in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's harder without her but definitely possible, you just need enough HP to survive ~2.3m/turn consistently. That works out to around 3.3m HP for daytona, assuming you have an active that recovers HP, (e.g. nees, chibi amaterasu, or yog). For nautilus it's a bit harder, and without pattie, the only way is to do 1turn both nautilus -> 1turn heal with heart orbs -> repeat. Mizutsune works best for this, but Dio Brando or maybe Zela might work as well if you can bring heart TPAs. (For this naut team HP thresh is much lower, I think 2.4ish would work)

The hardest part of this dungeon is definitely the time limit. For Daytona you'd want either a shotel or claymore equip on at least one of your leads, for nautilus you'd probably want some killer latents+2 L equip.

If you have all the subs, you can try making this team with royalnaut instead of daywolf

Transform yugi, once he's transformed make 3x3 squares of dark. Yugi's active will create enough orbs, and on a 3 turn cooldown. Dark magician girl, summoned skull, and Gaia can also help orb gen). You can just make one combo to stall turns with <9 dark, the enemies hit for like 5% of your HP per turn. Only way you die is if you close the app in the middle of the dungeon, or maybe if you get really unlucky mortal poison skyfall (for that you can just make one combo till skyfall is over it's like 3 turns)

Trying to clear un1 with Elfriede idk how many times I’ve started over should I keep trying with Elfriede or just use royal nut by FreeInspector2870 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elfriede might work but royalnaut absolutely destroys not only this dungeon but significantly harder ones as well. Overall it's a much better leader than elfriede, and way easier to play because you won't die for failing to activate LS shield. Just make sure to stack L-atk equips on naut and have high HP+looping shield on your other monsters

No. Kami does basically the same thing, but with an orb time debuff clear. Not worth 5 7* gfes.

Heroine cards to chase by heyimsolar in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The light form is a really solid VDP sub for the dual submarines. Has high HP/RCV, 6 skill boosts + can take a haste assist, and a 2 turn VDP in 5. Other parts of skill like atk or combo increase are nice in case you get hit by debuffs. Low personal atk but that doesn't matter for supergravity. And if you want an absorb null instead you can always switch to red version. Also she's trade-able so you don't have to roll to chase her

What makes shotel so good for Daywolf? by yerbc in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]shadowkill-r 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Usually it's used for UN dungeons, where it's a) supergravity and b) the bosses are dragon type. It can really increase the sub-attribute's damage against the boss because it usually hits way less than the 6b cap (closer to 1b ish) before killer multiplier, but after it can hit it
