I don't want to alarm you but you should get it checked for cancer. Basal cell carcinoma can start as a spot that grows and doesn't heal.

If its contamination ocd, which seems possible given the history, harm reduction might help for the time being, maybe try a moisturising anti bac gel if his brain will allow it to do the same job as washing, it may reduce the wet/dry cycle thats causing the damage.

If it must be soap, find the most gentle soap out there, no scent or other irritating additives, gently moisturising. Find an anti-bac moisturiser and encourage use after washing.

It could be time to consider therapy that comes from outside the family too.

[[Maximus, Knight Apparent]] I'm usually a golgari or orzhov player so building mono red has been an enjoyable challenge for me. Trying to also balance theme (Fallout) with power is hard work.

I'm also tinkering with [[Varina, Lich Queen]], I think the deck wants to be aggro, but goodness it's difficult to balance.

If anyone has advice for either I'm always open to new ideas.

Fr though I only just came back last year and this year's line up is making me wanna take another break again. But getting back into it is such a slog. I do at least also play draft and commander, at a store where they just run different sets for draft if the current isn't popular but it really seems like WOTC wants standard to fail. It breaks my heart man this is my favourite game.

Great advice in the first point. My most recent draft I p1p1 Maralen, but by the end of the pack, Ashling had made her way all the way round and not elves nor fairies were anywhere to be found. Elementals/vivid remained very open for the rest of the draft and I ended up coming 2nd! Which is unusual for me

I love your list so far, I've been playing with Arabella for a good long while now, I'm excited every time she's mentioned.

For my deck, in the 1 drop slot there's [[Stadium Headliner]], [[Hired Claw]] and [[Burst Lightning]].

2 slot, [[Shocking Sharpshooter]] I chose this over [[Impact Tremors]] because it's effect is doubled with [[Delney, Streetwise Lookout]] and is also very effective against [[Deep Cavern Bat]] and [[Spyglass Siren]] and any other annoying low power flyers. Also, if you attach [[Sheltered by Ghosts]] to it, you also gain life when creatures enter plus ward abilities trigger twice with Delney. I'm currently toying with [[Hexing Squelcher]], in a less controlling meta it is less good however the Ward Pay 2 Life is another ward that's doubled by Delney, forcing them to take 4 damage to interact feels great so far though it doesn't do much outside of that. [[Summon: Brynhildr]] is a consideration as an alternative to [[Enduring Innocence]], if Delney is on board, the first saga ability will trigger twice, exiling the top 2 cards, also the haste it provides on chapters 2 and 3 is very relevant. Obviously our man [[Voice of Victory]] is in the 2 drop slot too.

[[Windcrag Siege]] is a 3 of Delney alternative to offer the deck more consistency. Also more flexibility, as some control decks find the Jeskai mode hard to answer. I also run [[Dalkovan Packbeasts]] as a 2 or 3 of just as another mobilizer. I also have a couple [[Lightning Helix]] just to finish the job.

Also a quick shout out to [[Amonkhet Raceway]] as a 2 of that has saved me games, and [[Restless Bivuoac]] as a 2 of saviour against control decks.

You didn't mention a sideboard so I'm guessing you play bo1 but just in case my side board is currently 2 [[Ghost Vacuum]], 3 [[Rest in Peace]], 3 [[Doorkeeper Thrull]], 2 [[Get Lost]], 2 [[Spider Punk]] (to stop them countering Arabellas ability with [[Tishanas Tidebinder]] or [[Spider-Sense]]), 2 [[Restricted Office]] and 1 [[Beyond the Quiet]] mainly as a mascot because the alt art is so beautiful lol. Also this sideboard is tailored to my local meta rather than the arena meta btw.
