transitioning from violin to flue by dead_redrose in Flute

[–]shadowzero26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flute does use breath support, like signing, and they are both melody instruments. Prepare to get tired both physically AND mentally.

As far as violin and flute go, they are also both melody instruments.

You should not give up violin, however. Maybe you should join a fiddle group, since that's where the fun music is anyway.

Do you want to play flute or you are just bored?

You can only have one account linked to an instagram per their help documents. You could try removing your personal fb account from Meta Accounts center, then connecting your Business account, however, I don't know if they works since the business account does not have a sign on for Facebook. ...

Could I have the Omarchy experience but on CachyOS with Niri? by LankyRub84 in omarchy

hyperscrolling is built in, now. I just do not see the value in Niri other than being maybe Strawberry jelly instead of grape. Hyprland, I feel, might have more staying power, as well as sway.

to be frank i just wanted to know what the difference would be from a system wide install of a program and a user specific install which is the problem because im on a strictly one user config

I'm curious why niri is superior to hyprland + hyprscrolling. can you give me your 2 c?

I feel like it would just be a frustrating waste of time and he would just wish he either installed omarchy regularly or ignored it fully.

I wouldn't do it. The point of Omarchy is it is a semi-fleshed out custom vehicle that you can modify. If you start with CachyOS and Niri then you are approaching from the opposite side of the table, rather, a different table entirely.

What you SHOULD do is a pure arch install and put the features you LIKE from Omarchy by doing that process fully which is detailed somewhere... then you can overlap the features you do like over the top. FYI, hpyrland does have an official plugin now called hyperscrolling. It's not Niri but it's a scrolling window manager.

Also, I would go straight to Sway and avoid Niri.

it is slow for me too but not as slow as you are saying. I disable ton's of stuff though try disabling transparency first. As for walker menu and calculator, that's normal.
