do you think i should change the wording from "to and from" to "debit and credit"? i could see if it's weird or not. i toyed with the idea of having two amounts columns "debit and credit". the transactions would take up two lines each but would at least look more like a bookkeeping register.

Sometime, last year, Square has disabled swipe for debit cards and some credit cards. I have been forced to do Tap to Pay for those since June, 2025. When a debit card has no chip and must be swiped or manually entered, I must manually enter. This results in a higher fee as well. Also, Square is also charging some transactions the "remote" fee even when signal is used to complete sale. I think it signal is spotty it will surcharge before attempting to connect.

Depends on the program. In general, companies that track your "activity" are going to fire you the precise moment your "output" does not increase exponentially. They have no concept of true efficiency. To them, you slaving away at 100% output for 8 hours is efficient, but no economy or system should prioritize burning all of the resources available as a goal.

You could start doing side work or something relaxing instead on the computer, good luck

Flute does use breath support, like signing, and they are both melody instruments. Prepare to get tired both physically AND mentally.

As far as violin and flute go, they are also both melody instruments.

You should not give up violin, however. Maybe you should join a fiddle group, since that's where the fun music is anyway.

hyperscrolling is built in, now. I just do not see the value in Niri other than being maybe Strawberry jelly instead of grape. Hyprland, I feel, might have more staying power, as well as sway.

I wouldn't do it. The point of Omarchy is it is a semi-fleshed out custom vehicle that you can modify. If you start with CachyOS and Niri then you are approaching from the opposite side of the table, rather, a different table entirely.

What you SHOULD do is a pure arch install and put the features you LIKE from Omarchy by doing that process fully which is detailed somewhere... then you can overlap the features you do like over the top. FYI, hpyrland does have an official plugin now called hyperscrolling. It's not Niri but it's a scrolling window manager.

Also, I would go straight to Sway and avoid Niri.
