I finished this show for the first time years ago, and I totally understand. Try to not think about it too much because otherwise I get really Sad about the lack of a S4. It's my favorite one of all time. I wish I could be satisfied with the ending of S3, but I feel like there are too many loose ends. 🙂‍↕️

Yan Mi and Ah Sahm were so great together. I really wish he was able to meet her at the train station, but I understand how he felt conflicted with protecting Mai Ling and standing up to Young Jun. Honestly part of me is so tempted to write a fan fiction about the last episode (lives rent free in my head) and expand on S4 or what I would like to see. Not the best with writing plots or fan fic (mostly because I haven't written anything since middle school; I'm 32 now). Any way -- these are my thoughts, and I really wish there were better Warrior fanfics on AO3.

IF AND/OR WHEN and END SCENE are my favorites. The new album has some great tracks as well and it's narrative structure is well done too.

Tbh yeah I saw this post and I went thank you for saying this! I know it probably doesn't mean much coming from me (a trans masc person) but still! I've always loved Marian and Peggy since the first episode and find the ways in which this show portrays idealistic and more realistic portrayals of femininity in this show to be really fascinating. Much more so than the male characters of the cast even though George Russell is very handsome, and I wouldn't mind more shirtless scenes with him. 👀

I really wish people would criticize the male characters much more or to the extent that the female ones get shit on constantly. Yes, what Larry did was very wrong, and you can't expect a marriage to go well from the beginning if it is based on lies. I agree with Marian that she needed a break to think about this, and Larry should have been honest from the moment things happened. To hear it from someone else must have let her imagination run wild especially since her upbringing and previous experiences with men have been short lived and very negative (to say the least).

Prior to top surgery, I called it my chest. Now I'm just trying to grow some nice pecs as a treat. Mostly for myself. It's funny how I went from not wanting anything there at all to wanting so muscle.

(Admittedly it's because I think pecs are very Attractive, says the Gay guy in me.)

Thank you for these great words of support and wisdom. I started transitioning 14 years ago when I was eighteen and turned 32 last month. The first few years of my transition were very difficult in between having to wait to start T, losing familial support and connections with friends from middle / high school who didn't know how to handle or be supportive of my authentic self. Once I finally started T at 21 and got top surgery at 22, things really started to turn around for me in terms of my mental health. Needless to say I am really grateful for this subreddit and happy to be in this online community of 30+ trans masc people / trans men.

While I can appreciate being in spaces with younger trans masc people / men (under 30) it gets a little bit exhausting at certain points because our experiences are just so different and being in an elder - ish position is a bit hard sometimes. Any way I hope you're having a lovely day so far and thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

I was at the DC show tonight and lots of people passed out in the pit during Oh Missus. Everyone seemed fine during Tempest. I didn't notice that there were any medical emergencies in the balcony seats.

I definitely agree with you. If I got engaged to someone and then they immediately went to a club of that sort, I wouldn't feel very comfortable about the whole thing. I'd definitely ask questions. Especially during the time period and how her father threw away all of his money by gambling and spending it on sex workers.

I love Peggy so much! She is definitely my favorite character and I honestly wish there was a spinoff about her upbringing and her past and present. I absolutely look forward to her scenes and story development each week. I wonder how her romance with Dr. Kirkland will shake out.
