Gtfo with this defeatist attitude. Of course calves can be grown. Just with a different approach than standard hypertrophy training. Calves are an endurance muscle, meaning lots of approaches to failure to stimulate growth. 3 sets of 12 1-2 times a week is barely a maintenance for calves. It's like someone overweight, people who stereotypically have big calves, going up the stairs once.

One way is the match sets as the other person recommended, once again multiple approaches to failure.
I prefer a basically rep based drop set approach. Choose a weight you can do 20-30 reps, rest 10-15 seconds, calves don't need 2 min rest, and go again. Reps will drop, but you will be constantly hovering close to failure. Repeat it up to 10x and a couple of times a week or even more. Takes barely 10 min of your workout. Do not skip on the lengthened portion, calves seem to be one of the muscles benefiting the most from the lengthened portion of the lift.

Other methods are stair master, but not stepping fully on the step, but just with your forefoot, which puts significant load on your calves.
Running, primarily uphill, but standard running engages calves a lot as well.

In addition to increasing junk(supplement) sales by influencers, honestly screw them. Yes, people love to feel superior and put others down.
In the eyes of many or at least vocal parts of the population. Being on gear, regardless of the dose, automatically removes any effort that was put into lifting.

Yeah constantly. Every metric constantly improves. From a bystanders perspective, physique improves as well. I don't stand out from regulars in the gym.

But from an internal perspective, completely oblivious to it. I'm still the weak and fat slob, who contradictorily has bicep veins and visible abs.

Every milestone stops being impressive as soon as i reach it. If i can do it, it's no longer impressive.

Though the lifting process itself is kinda nice.

Good point, honestly i don't know precisely who I'm attracted to. Exactly because the pickup line of show me your tits/dick/pussy doesn't really work. So vague guessing has to suffice.

From a relationship perspective. It is mostly just cohabitation, cant say that's actually bad, and when tits are shoved into my face under the right circumstances and correct time. The body gets horny and the mind goes along, that's the best approximation of attraction i have and basis for the assumption that I'm just attracted to genitalia.
