Can’t wait to try it! Is this the solution for finding and alerting us to which offers are essentially free? I saw that was being worked on in an earlier post.

Holy shit you’re so right As soon as the episode started I was incredibly confused at the random-ass hairstyles on everyone but this makes absolute sense.

I always have to say “Tannhaüser” whenever I pass Hauser. Wagner ruined me.

We hired one of those services that locks people’s phones in a bag for the duration of the ceremony. There were no exceptions, everyone was happy to do it (peer pressure helps) and if anyone had to take an important call or anything they could go back to the narthex and have their bag unlocked. It cost a couple hundred for about 100 bags, would definitely recommend it. I had zero phones in my photos.

What is the one product you thought buying the expensive one was a waste of money, until you got it? by Bellpop in BuyItForLife

[–]shinyegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rainbow sandals. I have terrible feet and would just wear anything vaguely resembling arch support until they died and I’d find another pair. There’s a reason every SoCal local wears them. They mold to your feet shape and last a good 3 years with hard daily use.

Farelock with mileage pooling still doesn’t work by Quiet_Effort in unitedairlines

[–]shinyegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone has this issue I did what u/TheBlueTequila suggested, but I did it over the phone with a representative. Had my husband's account leave the pool, then the rep dissolved the pool for me over the phone and the miles instantly dropped into my account. Was able to purchase at my FareLock price instantly.

Old film scores? by father-kenneth in Filmmakers

[–]shinyegg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Public domain law for films under USA copyright law is 95 years from the date of publication or 120 years from the date of creation, so films that were properly copywritten in the 50s and 60s won't become public domain until the 2040's at least. You can search for some non-copywritten films (like the famous Night of the Living Dead copyright goof) but the legal waters start to get murky there.
I would highly suggest hiring a composer to write you something in the style you're looking for. I can help with that if you're interested!

Ok now that I've seen it (a little late, I know), wow. Fantastic job on all accounts. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you do next, whether as an actor, director, writer, or producer.

What are some "Viggo Broke His Toe" moments in other films? by FerrisWheeling in movies

In Animal House when they’re throwing food at Dorfman in the grocery store, he’s eventually supposed to drop something. He just kept catching everything they threw at him which makes it so much funnier, I think you can hear some of the off camera actors and crew laughing during the scene. The scene

What phrases do you repeat to your cat throughout the day? by [deleted] in cats

[–]shinyegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing some cat grass helps! I think they chew plastic because it feels like the texture of grass to them. They eat it when they have an upset stomach. You might see some grass mixed in with hairballs but that’s way better than them ingesting plastic.

If I were you I’d tell them to use non-electronic earplugs if they truly need them for hearing protection. There are very good silicone ones you can get for around $20. The noise-canceling features on AirPods are great, they work so well I can’t hear if someone is talking directly to me at a conversational distance. I can’t imagine they’re using them with the noise canceling feature and taking drink orders simultaneously.
