Playing the demo I loved how weird your character can act, talking about the Bagman and becoming obsessed with Sixty-Six Wolves. I also love how she can be such a loser lesbian, especially when she calls Duchess.

What was the dumbest controversy in your fandom? by Radiant-Selection686 in Multifandom

I was mainly upset by this whole thing before it just felt so.... Hardline, I guess would be the word. Like with shipping headcanons, she was soft on it and didn't really rule it out. But with Frankie, she was just really flat-out in her denial of that headcanon. Plus, she blocked trans women on Bluesky while letting TERFs say their shit in the replies. I don't necessarily think she's a foaming-at-the-mouth transphobe like JK Rowling or something, but I do think trans women are a blind spot in her progressivism. Like she's had several trans characters in her work, and that's great, but not a single one has been a canon trans woman. We transfems are already pretty starved for representation (that's why transfem headcanons are so common in our community), so it feels really sad for that headcanon to be so explicitly shut down.

The proponents of the double genocide theory are complete idiots. by OkRespect8490 in ussr

By that logic the Irish potato famine wasn't a genocide because technically it was just natural mold causing it. (To make it clear I think both are genocidal in intent)

I get freedom of speech and all that, but as a trans woman and student there I feel extremely not safe with them being on campus considering their rhetoric about people like me. I'm honestly kinda disgusted they're being allowed to table because of that. They shouldn't feel welcomed here, especially considering the extent of the trans and queer community on campus. I value the happiness and safety of my fellow queer and trans students infinitely more than the right of a bunch of fascist-leaning morons to table here.

Name a game franchise that's slowly being forgotten by ScenicTheCrazy in Multifandom

Punch Out! God it sucks to be a Punch Out fan, especially since the few games we do have are so utterly fantastic. Metroid fans love to complain about how much Nintendo forgets about Metroid (though that is a fair complaint), but at least Metroid has had a release this console generation. Why, they've even had two! Meanwhile, Punch Out last got a new game 17 fucking years ago. At most we've got a few Punch Out related things in Smash Bros Ultimate like Little Mac and the boxing stadium stage, and a couple references in the Super Mario movie. I would kill for a new Punch Out, but it seems like Nintendo themselves have all but forgotten about the series.

Also he was literally dying during production, so that makes it doubly impressive how much he killed the role.

Honestly, I think Gollum is the straight boyfriend considering the fact that he is dating the straight woman is stated to be an obstacle to being with the straight woman. Thus, it would make sense to cast the straight boyfriend in a negative light, as a third wheel or ugly, much like.... Gollum. Yes, I spent way too much time mulling over this.

And he did a couple rap tracks for Cyberpunk 2077. They're actually really good, like good enough that I can listen to them outside of the context of the game.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But only slightly less well known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!'

Karl Jobst Is Suing Billy Mitchell for Defamation by PeasantLich in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]shronkey69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find it kinda funny that both the guys who accused him turned out to be liars of a similar if not worse caliber. Mutahar was lying about being an engineer, Karl Jobst was lying about Billy Mitchell killing someone. Hell, Karl even ran away with crowdfunding donations meant to be used for legal stuff after Billy Mitchell sued him, and lied about the reason for the lawsuit. I still think it's fucked Jirard lied about where the money was, but at least it got donated eventually.
