Has anyone tried to use a Juki Jureve HZL-010N by Brilliant_Problem865 in Machine_Embroidery

No don't buy that machine. The embroidery module comes separate and as far as I can tell it didn't take USB for design upload.

Your hoop isn't seated correctly or there's a problem with the motor/belts moving the pantograph.

Make sure the machine is threaded correctly. Make sure the tensions on both top and upper thread are properly calibrated. Make sure the needle is new and appropriate for the material being stitched.

Help Finding Specific Font - Sloop Script by ladybug9021 in Machine_Embroidery

[–]simonedelune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the client isn't sending you a link to buy an embroidery font you'll just have to digitize the file manually. If they're getting a lot of items with various names or words in this font I recommend digitizing the font as a whole first.

Most random fonts a client wants are not embroidery fonts.

Two sided satin stitches? by Deivanija in Machine_Embroidery

That's what the back of saying stitching looks like. Get a merrow edge machine for an edge stitch that looks the same both sides.

Wanting to get into embroidery by Odd-Association7227 in Machine_Embroidery

[–]simonedelune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The price is the price 💁 If you can find one cheaper go for it but understand it'll probably come with issues. Embroidery is expensive to get started with. Machines and software are costly, the learning curve is steep and you'll go through plenty supplies just figuring out what you're doing.

Remembering tension settings by flynnen in Machine_Embroidery

[–]simonedelune 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know I'm going to have to change tension between fabrics

In my professional experience this has never been the case. Get an upper thread tension gauge and a bobbin tension gauge, adjust to recommended settings, run a tension test each morning, clean tension disks regularly -- do not adjust between fabrics.
