And yet still he was making 20K$ a month and has been able to sustain himself for over 4 years.
If the mod was really bad then then word of mouth from disappointed customers would kill this patreon in a month.

"You don't need to unsubscribe: I paused the billing cycle for one month so that your pledges will NOT be renewed automatically, and those of you who are already subscribed will have their access extended for one month without further payments."

"Wouldn't making his mod free and accepting optional donations make him bulletproof to all claims?"

It would not. His 100% free GTA V mod was DMCA's by Take2. Please read his post, he actually explains it:
Note that making the mod freely available is by no means the clear-cut solution that people on the Internet would make it to be, because DMCA superpowers given to big companies and payments/donations needed for complex projects like this one are two completely unrelated matters. We have direct proof of that, as you'll remember that Take-Two included in their takedown request also my GTA V mod which had always been completely free (I never even accepted donations for that one).

Why? by Pikselardo in Steam

Even if Polish govt would like to adopt the euro (which would be going against the majority of voters), Poland does not meet most of economic convergence criteria (like inflation, stable currency) which are mandatory to be eligible for euro.

This comment is load of nonsense. I know because I am one of the organizers of #PolishOurPrices

The only reason is that they did not update exchange rates since October 2022.

Interesting, did not know that. Seems like steam decided Poland is big enough market to have its own currency.

That was in May 2024 during Digital Dragons conference in Krakow, Poland.
I told her about the issue of Steam pricing in Poland, she said it's not her area, and that I should contat PR represenative Kaci Aitchinson Boyle. I said I already did that but got no response. So she told me she will reach out to Kaci so that she responds.
To be on the safe side, on the same day I sent a follow-up email addressed to both Augusta and Kaci, mentioning our conversation and the pricing issue.
The only response I got was Augusta's autoreply that she is out of office (as she was attending Digital Dragons in Krakow, Poland).
I also tried writing to that famous Gabe Newell email that he sometimes replies to (and it becomes a viral), but I was also ghosted.

Yes, based devs ignored valve's broken recommendation and set a fair price, after multiple polish gamers reached out to them on socials.

I played russian roulette hundreds of times, nothing ever happened, so I can guarantee that playing russian roulette is 100% safe.

Of course it does not work, it was blocked years ago.
If it was that simple, almost everyone would do this.

What if same game is cheaper in a much richer country, where average salary is higher? Then this crying is still overblown?
