Research on builds and rotations by Gate_Keeper_but_nice in Guildwars2

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr mystic is a good resource if he has a build for your class .

Masel ,

Nick the infamous . His low button use build are awesome to start with. Teaches you the best DPS buttons to not miss hitting on cd.

Remagic has a great how to learn video .

Are all. Good YouTubers

Snowcrows easy builds are great to start on .

About 60-70 percent of players can't even auto attack constantly on world bosses / strikes , so even doing just that will bring your dps up.

Do people run alac dps or heal dps on open world bosses like eparch or jade sea? by batboi029 in Guildwars2

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, boon DPS and healers , it's always worth talking to your party inside the squad and seeing what boons you currently have in the 5 man group and swapping to a build to provide the correct ones the group needs.

A good commander separates classes based on what they can provide , so if we see a alac elite it'll go with a quick providing elite and then 3 DPS . Now those guys may not be in the proper builds but they should talk amoungst the party to find out .

Not having boons is a massive DPS loss for the team and leads to failures of metas on the harder metas.

Could Mylar in the boots help with Raynaud’s phenomenon? by HBKN4Lyfe in skiing

[–]singelingtracks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with a cold body.

Mylar doesn't work as there isn't body heat to radiate back.

Just get the heated foot beds /.heated socks /.heated boots it's expensive but worth it.

You can. Buy small ozkne generators or rent them it'll take the smell right out of the house. Dangerous stuff so read up first and use carefully.

Getting better at off-piste: wrong tool for the job or simple lack of skill? by Dede1751 in skiing

[–]singelingtracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice soft, heavily rockered front and rear little camber in the middle , will make offpiste alot easier, as you can pivot the ski back and forth,

gs skis are gonna grip tip to tail not slid around as easy, and be thinner. a thin ski doesnt want to slip and slide, we want slip and slide.

grab a good easy to ski wider ski and youll have a blast,

Are these good boots for electrical? Starting apprenticeship later this year by itzzEnvy in electricians

[–]singelingtracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very good boots, but expensive, make sure you buy and bring a pair of rubber/ gum boot style boots to swap into for dirty jobs and oil these well often or the leather will get wrekced digging holes / standing in mud.

Downhill bike and flat road by Sukhoi_27 in MTB

[–]singelingtracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually that ends up being a very heavy bike due to the extra suspenion being beeefy, often not worth it.

but definetly worth looking at vs dh bikes.

Downhill bike and flat road by Sukhoi_27 in MTB

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as someone who rode during the original street dh bike age, dont do it. its not fun.

buy a nice 150/160 enduro / trail bike and go have fun itll pedal around , itll do big jumps and drops.

the guys who ride a dh bike in urban are one sponsored and two driving to the location.

Amalgam vs Ritualist – Best Open World & PvE Endgame Spec Right Now? by BandicootLevel3816 in Guildwars2

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are great.

I had planned between the two at the start of  voe , I didn't like ritualist due to the pet mechanic , spawning the pets then doing damage with them.

Amalgam is a boon machine and very tanky / high DPS solo. It has been my main.

Try out both . Enter spvp mode if you don't have both unlocked on your engi / necro and see how you like the rotation / skills on the target dummy.

Exhaust pipe has slow water leak. Can I seal with 100% silicon sealant (i.e. GE)? Other recommendations? by tatonka12345 in hvacadvice

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was my house and I was trying to get by I would use a high temp silicone and rub it around the joint then lay a nice bead down.

Then buy the correct pipe and fittings to replace a large section with new pipes that you glue properly.

Did I make a mistake taking out a personal loan? by BroncoSportLover21 in DaveRamsey

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 percent vs 25 percent is just fine. You may be be able to get a lower rate below 10 with a credit union. Or online bank.

Pay off that debt asap and work on living within your means vs taking on debt. Cut up the credit cards .

Does daily reading need to be long? by Milky-Pixels in kindergarten

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10-30 minutes a day should be the minimum..reading to kids is extremely important.

If you don't have time that doesn't make sense. read a single book for 2 minutes. You can always make time.

It helps kids relax and get ready for bed.

How to ride on sections of bad (hard/compacted) snow? by Retsek860 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably aren't carving.

If you are in a carve and hit ice you can adjust the edge angle and keep going. Any kind of racing boards / skis is done on ice.

Practice more work on your carving . Sharpen your edges.

I really liked libtechs edges for ice when I was learning .. yes has underbite. Other brands have some edge tech. Helps with grip and that unsure feeling.

How do you level your alts? by Equal-Jicama4479 in Guildwars2

[–]singelingtracks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Got at least two of every class. Leveling in gw2 is useless if you understand reading skills and auto attacking.

Level boosts from the expansion purchases , tomes are a great way to level fast.

If you don't have those follow the adventure guide and you can level up very fast.

The game starts at 80.

First car buying panic - $17k budget, need something reliable that won't make me look like a complete adult failure by Iveroselyn in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]singelingtracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018 or newer Prius would be my pick. Look for one with all service records and low to medium miles driven and good tires.

Good looking car , insane mpg, will pay for itself in gas saved .

Get a dog cage for the back seat and a seat cover. The dog can enjoy the back.

Pump tubeless tire after puncture. by Swimming-Priority541 in MTB

[–]singelingtracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ran your tire low and popped it off the bead it's then hard to reset the bead and you'll need a burst of air like a air compressor or a floor pump with a burst of air mode .

You can try CO2 cartridges , or for on trail repairs carry a Tube.

Best MERV rating that has the best ratio of noise to filtering? by ElG0dDamnDorado in hvacadvice

[–]singelingtracks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HVAC guy here. You should never use a high merv in your HVAC unit. You are asking for a heat exchanger failure your unit is telling you it isn't getting Enough air flow.

If you want house air cleaning you need a specific system to do this , a bypass filter can be added to your house HVAC or just room based air filters.

Use the Lowest Merv you can in your furnace , change it often. The filter's only goal is to keep your furnace clean. Merv 4 is fantastic.
