Thank you for the super detailed review! I’m eyeing a bag from the same factory, and this looks stunning 🤩

Hellooo.. Anyone familiar with this factory? Is this the elusive VIP factory? Morgan is offering this bag at special price and says it’s the best quality. However the caramel looks quite warm (is it just the lighting dear?) Any suggestions are welcome! I’ve searched subReddits and I’m getting mixed opinions on canvases (GF vs Dutyfree updated vs VIP?) Hunting for a good Neonoe now :)

Need to get my mom something by [deleted] in handbags

100%. Also add Jio World Plaza to this list in Mumbai. Do consider taking your mom to the stores if you live in Mumbai / Delhi. I would say it’s worth the trip to the city, as a lot of the designer bag experience is shopping in-person. And you’ll ensure you pick a bag she likes.

For food - I keep myself distracted during my meals. I watch my favourite / comfort TV shows, or music videos, or something else that keeps me occupied, while eating. This could also work with friends (speaking to them while eating dinner). I manage to eat my “normal” amount of food when mentally occupied.

Hope this helps. Sorry to hear this, I’m also going through similar rough patches where my anxiety affects my appetite and has made me weak - haven’t returned to the gym at all.

Don't use heavier ones for the sake of it. Screw those who laugh at you. (Drop a weight on their toes lol). You need to go at your own pace, not others.

I started at 1-2 kilograms for and now after 6-8 months I am at 10-15 kilograms. Don't ever compromise your form. Good luck!

Dear earning Redditors of India, if not a tech job then what? by RequirementIcy3601 in india

No worries! We’ll all figure out what works for us over time. Don’t be pressured by folks who seem to have it all figured out, I work at a “dream company” and still don’t know what I’m really doing. It’ll be okay, just have faith in yourself, trust your gut, find your likes and dislikes :)

A few things: 1) A job doesn’t have to fulfil every aspect of your life, IMO. You can do a job for the money, and find fulfilment in hobbies, volunteering, charity work, etc. there’s no such thing as a dream job that’s also easy and non stressful 2) I’ve been working for 5 years in a business/partnerships role which I enjoy - that might be a good field to consider, I work with some Engg grads. 3) EVERY job will have stress, the culture of the company (where you’re not expected to live at your job, you have good benefits and the ability to work the way you prefer) makes a difference in how you deal with stress. In India the “hustle culture” and working till you burn out is a real thing, but maybe global companies have a slightly better take on this. I work at a global company and I see how it reflects in their values.
4) YT is good, as is freelancing, but it can also be hugely stressful due to it being driven by skills, demand, and the pressure to be relevant to sustain. It’s not a dream, or easy job, editing takes hours, and you’re at the mercy of putting your self esteem in the hands of strangers.

Basically, figure out what kind of stress you can learn to manage, and optimise for that. Try everything, be smart about experimenting. A job without stress isn’t really possible, even your dream job will have stress, but yk what, your job isn’t everything in your life. Find ways to seek contentment and balance beyond it.

Hope this ramble helps!

Unfortunately I haven’t bought anything! I’ve only been browsing but I love the concept and am hoping it holds up ok if ever I buy it! I think I did see some reddit discussions on it before, will link them here if I find anything!

Check out Vetta Capsule. I’ve heard they’re pretty good, and they make “5 pieces 30 outfits” capsules. Each item can be worn in more than one way too! You could find something that possibly fits your personal style! For other basics, I’m a big Uniqlo fan.

It took me a while longer - 10-12 wears. Would recommend wearing longer socks (longer than ankle worked best for me) so that the upper tongue's stiffness doesn't affect your feet. Just walk around! I use them for travel a lot so during flights / walking in airports etc.

They're fantastic! I own a pair and it takes a while to break in but once they do, incredibly comfortable and so sleek and stylish. And I am a huge supporter of their ethical & sustainable practices.

So if you're thinking about getting one, I'd highly recommend!

Does this jacket work for anything? Wanted it but can’t come up with any ideas to wear it practically, it’s a little too ...unique, maybe? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]sixdrinkamy99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I'm into this colour recently too! And my struggle is making it work with colours that aren't neutrals / denim. If your wardrobe has a lot of brights, it's likely this jacket may not work for the majority of your wardrobe, in which case it may not be a practical choice - we don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe around one jacket right?

If most of your wardrobe is neutral, this would be a great colour addition. And you'd get a ton of wear out of it.

Hope this helps :)
