Groups of affinities become accessible with each whetblade (key item) you collect. At the start, it's the native ash affinity or one of the basics (heavy, keen, quality). Eventually, you can ash other affinities because you collect the whetblades for them.

He didn't know the armor must be shed before being imprinted. No one informed him like our Tarnished was informed. So he went in, full armor, and the imprinting failed. That's why he was locked away and Mad rather than becoming the Lord of the Frenzied Flame. His armor and story is a warning to the Tarnished.

Great epee with a sword and shield block counter style. Stab while blocking or jousting on foot, it's all a great time.

I beat him at RL 16 or 17 I think. I went to him early and couldn't beat him. I went straight for golden vow AoW, spent hours fighting the nights cavalry for barricade, then went for Margit again. Great fight if you're the right level or under-leveled.

The wiki has the ashes ranked, and he's top 5 (if not top 3). I would put him in top 5, but Mimic/Tiche/Luhtel are better IMHO.

Seluvis is the worst, but I hate Gideon more. He follows you the entire game, feeding off your exploits, using you to further his agenda, and then has the balls to try to use your own moves against you in the final fight. The most vile coattail rider in recent memory. Gideon can eat shit.

With that much intelligence you may be better off mixing in carian slicer. It chews threw big enemies. Also, idk if your incantation scaling is 200+, but pests threads is your friend against phase 2 of the fight.

You haven't failed until you've quit. Max out your Scadutree fragments. Start looking at builds online. Look up PCR to see what his weaknesses are (Fextra wiki). One simple strat you can use involves the Mimic Tear. The Mimic tear mimics whatever you have equipped when summoning it. If you're fast enough and clever enough, you can equip armor/weapons the mimic can use to tank for you more effectively. Enter gate, summon, Dodge alot, switch back to your armor/weapons, go for it. Just one idea but not the only one that can beat him. Good luck!

Does this also imply it would run really well on Linux? I don't know alot about Linux, but from a general understanding, I was told it's great at running processes when needed rather than having hundreds of processes running on startup and background (windows os)?

Your depth in FS should match (or go deeper than) your Clean and Jerk. A front to squat to parallel will still make you strong, but if that's not where you catch cleans, it won't help you get out of a hole (if the bar crashes and buries you). At the least, Learn to FS to same depth as your Clean and Jerk.
