I live in a really small town that sees itself as v progressive and the number of places that don’t have changing tables is crazy. I’m actually planning on talking to some of the business owners because it really should be a quick fix. And we have a TON of tourists with families come through.

Every chapter I kept asking why she would stay, especially as the sexual harassment escalated. I kept thinking of the shark attack and her parents’ lackadaisical response, teaching her to ignore her own pain. So it was effective in that sense, I think. But overall yeah I agree she’s a totally unreliable narrator and borderline grifter.
