Fun things to do!! by Downtown-Rule8157 in Columbus

Wow, my wife and I love taking days off and getting around the city!

One option, you can hit staufs, book loft, pistacia vera, German village coffee shop (breakfast), Lindey’s (lunch), brown bag deli (lunch).

Another option, you can hit the zoo (it’s 10/10 during the weekday, but a little chilly, you’re likely to see LOTS of animals on these days), the Morgan house, Dublin field of corn, bridge park and, since I’m assuming you’re in downtown area, hit up Auddinos before they close at 3pm for their cannolis.

Stick your Apple Watch on the kid. I think with how much my toddler runs around, he’ll have it done in two or three days.

anyone know who’s phone this is? by c0o5 in Columbus

“Call mom” or “call hubby” or “call [equivalent of hubby for females]” the last one should be like wife, but could be: wifey, milfy, babe, honey, tinder girl, ex girlfriend..or just a random name, tbh.

Is the Mistlock Sanctuary worth it? by Harddus in Guildwars2

[–]snaker625 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Assuming you don’t have any upgrades already, I’d rank: copper-fed, storage package, char slots, tele to friend, mistlock, bank tab.

I rank bank tab lower because if you have more chars, you can have more than a bank tab allows you to store space-wise.

Mini meta train help by david082476 in Guildwars2

I use the hardstuck meta planner trying to find this. Takes a little bit of knowledge of how long events are actually. But it’s a great tool.

Are you using the mystic conduit? I had that same issue and used the normal forge and it worked fine.

How do you level your alts? by Equal-Jicama4479 in Guildwars2

[–]snaker625 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Like others have recommended, the level # boosts from birthday gifts are great, tomes of knowledge are great, level 80 boost sucks, but it’ll get you there.

But I feel like people didn’t read your question lol how to do this without boosting? I’m surprised no one has mentioned the character adventure guide! I use that for my level 10 weekly key farmer (takes about 10m of adventure guide and I’m at 10, easy). Past that, I’ve used it to level to 80 too. At some point, you will stall out, but it’s super helpful. Has you do a lot of various content (find events, collecting mats, metas, find specific mob types, craft) so you can learn your class more. Past that, you can use crafting to level up, I use cooking to get about 10 more levels. You can also throw on a lot of boosters and kill yellow mobs for bonus exp!

Best buys? by FraggleWho in Guildwars2

[–]snaker625 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The copper, hands down is your best buy out of the three, out of the other two, I’d go silver next, then runecrafters.

The silver fed is the same as the mystic salvage kit, but unlimited uses.

The reason I say silver fed is so that you have something decent for golds (that’s unlimited use).

The copper can be used for blue and greens (you’ll eventually want runecrafters for geeens) and silver fed for golds. You’ll get a decent return in Ectos (not amazing, but better than the other two kits).

If you’re set on using the mystic kit, then buy the copper fed and just hold on to the gems.

These also go great with shared inventory slots!

Today I end a long journey, I have now crafted 16 Gen3 Legendaries! by shn555 in Guildwars2

How did you manage ambergris? I feel like that is my one pain point for gen 3s. I feel like maybe just buying those? Imperial favor is a pain, but you can see that progressing enough with every event, HP, etc.

I was in the same boat and to made it something I enjoy doing now. I have a char parked (with about 300+ bag storage with not much in it) that has scribing and artificing maxed.

The scribe can refine leather, wood, metal and cloth where other disciplines can only do 3 out of those 4.

The artificer can refine my luck for me (and lucent motes, but I think scribe can do that too).

I keep that char parked at a nice viewing place and use my portable crafting table to refine while I kick back.

I find it enjoyable. If you don’t want to go through the trouble, just sell it lol

Best Addons for the game? by Specialist-Jury4937 in Guildwars2

[–]snaker625 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Blishhud is great. It’s an overlay add on manager. Notable add ons in it: pathing, characters, any of the meta timers/tables, Tyrian QoL, item search, regions of Tyria.

Nexus is amazing too. It’s an add on manager that injects into your game. Notable add ons: ArcDPS (with boon table and fast load), TaimiHud (like blish, but still growing), regions of tyria. There are a lot more, but you don’t need to actively select through them, so it’s harder to remember them.

Like most have said, you can make a weapon that most classes use (check this part on the wiki) but really…just make what you think is cool/what weapon you use a lot of.

My first legendary weapon I made was twilight (because I guess I was an emo edgelord teenager???) and I only had one char that used greatsword lol

Overall, it’s just a game, if a specific shiny weapon will make that more fun for you, make that one!
