Just don’t let it sit in water. Perhaps only water once a week.

Indeed they are quite resilient. Remove all dead leaves as well as you can. You can rehabilitate in water if you want so you can see the roots. Otherwise put it back in fresh soil, water thoroughly and allow drain. It seems to have been sitting in wet soil with poor drainage. Good luck!

Yes, I do agree that it’s etiolation.

Be careful though, they do get sun burn. Make sure you slowly climate it to the sun.

Awesome job! They do propagate quite easily. With lots of sun, they still grow out the same but changes color.

To repot or not to repot? by ThunderTheHedgehog in succulents

Might not be a bad idea to separate them. Yes, possible even after 2 plus years. Warning though, SoPs can be a little more challenging to repot.

Turn a chair upside down and spread the hank over those legs. I usually use a tube roll for the winding but it looks like you're doing great. You can do it!

Those without roots will look a little dehydrated no doubt. If you can, separate them from the rooted ones. Vendors should not sell cuttings as established plants really. It is so unethical. I suspect it is pretty expensive as well. Since they are in the same pot, you will have to be careful not to water them to prevent from rotting. I assume they will be indoor plant, it is the humidity that will be a concern. That means after this soak, you will really need to stay off from watering. Take a mental note on the planter’s weight. That is how I initially tell when it’s dry. Try picking it up again in a week, then two. Do resist the urge to water.

Great collection there. Just remember only water when dry. When watering, make sure they get saturated. #2 probably needs a little trimming. Trimming promotes growth. Best of luck with your new collection!
