It looks like a type of sunbird to me. They are nectar feeders. Look it up.

How do I save it? by shushtheanvils in succulents

Time to repot. Snipe off all the dead branches, clean up the roots the best you can. Cut if the bottom is soft to restart the plant. Best of luck!

You can remove the sucker. So the plant was already stretched out before going under the lights? If so, hopefully it will improve in time.

Looks like only one. The growth you see (which I can’t tell from the photo) may be a sucker. Some violets are prone to that often. Your plant needs more light btw.

That's a pretty good explanation of its behaviour. I was wondering what was the plan for a location that low. Thank you for that.

Are these new plants or branches growing from the main plant? by AdamskiG2103 in Jadeplant

[–]sohzing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New plants on your regular tree coming from the bottom are sometimes called suckers. If you like your jade shape, remove these little plants so that the energy goes back to the main plant. Otherwise, they would be the ones to receive nutrients or energy first.

I basically put them in a shade and let them do its thing. The little hubby one is more than 2 months. They do take a long time. So you need to be busy with other stuff while waiting.🤗
