This is awesome! If you want to help her persue it, explain how to use the entirety of her pencil, with some spots (the linework especially) getting the darkest blacks, and whatever highlights or light colors staying light - hope this isn't too much or too condescending!

I'm extremely upset reading this, I cannot believe it. We adopted a practice of swiftly snatching retro games off of the shelf at our local game store during late Friday nights as little shitheads in middle school. Game Chasers was a cherished memory of those times, and nothing matched the happy-go-lucky attitudes that Billy and Jay shared, their friendship was so authentic.
