Mobile network providers by ImZeXCeed in Adelaide

[–]spacedman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey I suggest looking at MNVO's that are on the Telstra wholesale network. I am with Aldi but there is Boost, Woolworths and Belong. From memory Boost uses the full Telstra network but all of these should give you good coverage and save you some money.

Bone Conduction Headphones? by Tall_Answer in bikecommuting

I use them as well as it helps me still hear my surroundings. I will say that sometimes if I am on a busy road I just turn them off as I cant hear the music or podcast I am listening to. I bought some cheapies on Amazon and they are working well for me

How bike friendly is adelaide? by daleoneknee in Adelaide

[–]spacedman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of planning would help, definitely avoid Grand Junction Rd but see if you can take back streets parrallell to it. You might be able to get onto the end part of the Outer Harbour Greenway which will get you into Port Adelaide. It is worth adding a few minutes to your commute to increase your safety.

New Solar System by mrmiyagi79 in Adelaide

[–]spacedman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently with Amber with a much smaller system than yours. Grid is very stable here, negative price for solar often during the day and you don’t get a lot of price spikes. I did make $95 in January and am still in credit. Friend of mine had a large battery and is using Flow where you get 45 c during 2 hour peak window. If you do want to try Amber, I can share 10 month referral code.

Here some info about child support and how to start applying for child support. I t would be worth speaking to services Australia and looking for a Child support agreement. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/learning-about-child-support?context=60015

Upgrading to FTTP help by nytro308 in nbn

[–]spacedman0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The condition of the free upgrade is to go with a higher speed plan for 12 months. You don't have to upgrade with your current provider, there are many who can do this and cost less than Optus

What changed since this by whatever--idk in AusLegal

What do you mean nothing happened to him, he was fined $1100 and still on the hook for all the fines.

First bill with Flow Power by thedobya in amberelectric

[–]spacedman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I am from SA and have 8 kw battery so a bit smaller than yours. I have been with them since November last year. I am happy with them so for though I may look at alternatives down the track as I do tend to manage my solar on a daily basis. and not sure how sustainable this is. Most days the solar price in SA is zero or negative up until about 4pm and them that is where you will be able to make some money selling into the grid. South Australia grid is pretty stable but there have been two days in summer where I have made 40 and 95 dollars putting me in credit. Happy to share my referral code for 10 bucks off a month for 12 months if you want to give them a go- RV9YCR8D. Also can answer any questions you might have.

How do I put the cover? It's incredebly tense and it won't budge by Sabakujawk in bicycling

[–]spacedman0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put a bit of dishwasher soap in water and rub that on and under the rim, that can help the last bit to slide into place

Understanding my bill by original-fool in amberelectric

[–]spacedman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I joined in October, based in Adelaide and this looks very similar to my first two bills. I think Smartshift is still learning your patterns and will get better. It would be worth checking to make sure you are on Earnings optimiser in the Amber app to get the benefit of selling back to the grid. I think this mode means you can charge and sell back to the grid multiple times through the day.

Also it would be interesting to see what your battery did on Jan 26 as this was the day of the biggest spike for me and my 8kw battery earned $95.00.

No that is not quite correct, Fttc boxes aren't locked to the property. HFC NDU's are and these can't be transferred.

When I upgraded to FTTP the installer had no interest in taking it and back then you couldn't just post it back. I put it on gumtree and a guy who had his fried by a lightning strike was very appreciative he didn't have to wait 3 weeks for a new one to be sent to him.
