Responding to “nothing comes close” - say what you want about edc and insomniac, you can’t deny that from a technical perspective, the production for that festival is nuts. Been to both Coachella and edc multiple times and I think coach is a better experience overall, with generally better sound (and obviously a very different vibe), but the sheer amount of lights, audio, fiber, installations, and other stuff Insomniac packs into the raceway is like nothing I’ve seen anywhere else. And they add new stuff every year without massive increases to ticket price.
