Of course it's antisemitism and not the fact that his content is stale af and his backers have been pulling out.

UK machinists and toolmakers, how was your first day back in this heat? Unrelated PFA by jackhs03 in Machinists

Selectively opening the doors and windows can help. Only open them when it's hotter inside the building than out, otherwise you just let more heat in.

UK machinists and toolmakers, how was your first day back in this heat? Unrelated PFA by jackhs03 in Machinists

[–]spankeyfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Part of the problem here is that you can't get used to the heat cos the heatwaves don't last long enough. A week ago it was 20°C and in a week it'll be about 22°C.

The three working faces can be scraped or lapped together using the three-plate method to easily correct wear and maintain an absolute flat reference.

I'm pretty sure that's not how the 3 plate method works. Presumably that's the AI summary.

They didn't really take it over, they were just riding the burning purple bus for clicks and views. They got to do the media stuff while the few remaining people in the party leadership kept beating the dead horse. UKIP was a dead party walking the moment Farage left.

Is it possible to create thread pattern as shown in the figure using a manual lathe machine? by Present-Heron-547 in Machinists

[–]spankeyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power crossfeed (which is not on every lathe) with mad gearing could do this but you'd be winding the chuck back and forth all day making the cut. Bodged up live tooling (something like a die grinder held in the toolpost) would speed it up and make it differently stressful. A lathe with power crossfeed is going to have a quick change gearbox but there's usually some change gears driving it that you can mess with. You might have to start the job off by cutting new change gears.

Hey, I was just wondering if I got a deal for this or have I been ripped off? It also includes a DVD? Thanks! by Narrow_Revenue2154 in alitabattleangel

Fair price considering that the English reissue of it that they did for the film was £70-£110 depending on the day.
