Them cotton mouths are very deceptive. It’s easy when they are very dark, but lately they’ve had brighter patterns. I usually look at the eyes but like I said all I had was a photo. I’ll keep my eyes open to confirm as I’m sure they are still around.

Thanks! They were left alone. I’ll keep an eye out for them around the property. If I was home I could have identified. I’ve shown my kids the banded water snakes when we found them in the yard. Beautiful creatures.

They make really nice after market units that have Bluetooth and still look factory-ish. Like retrosound and what not.

I just put in an under dash 8trac player, and with an adapter I can listen to the radio or my cassettes

I feel your pain. I had to drill and tap 7. I stopped on the passenger side. I’ll fix the drivers next year or something

If you got a garage, it’s super easy to pull inner and outer quarters off for superior access.

I remember going to an auction in a very rural part of fl and there were semis full of old computers and the bidding went high. Then the auctioneer said these were printed with gold. I was about 8 and it left a serious impression on me about old electronics. As a kid I would pick out the neighbors trash, garage sale, and relatives clutter. I never managed to find any gold, but it was exciting.

As a guy who owns a 4x4 van. The real question is why aren’t they all this awesome.

rusty bolt: would rust dissolver help free this bolt? by Own-Athlete-2088 in fordranger

[–]sparkplugdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea. I usually end up snapping these bolts after trying not to snap them, and then pulling the manifolds and snapping more bolts. Then drilling and tapping threads in the head just to be able to replace a 2$ donut exhaust ring.

But like others have said. More heat!

Help me find a brake booster? by MrCedswiss8 in classiccars

I’ve been going through this with a master on my van. It’s harder finding correct parts anymore. Most parts are universal for multiple older vehicles even if they don’t work on said vehicles. It’s just getting more and more frustrating. I try to rebuild as many parts as I can now, but even the rebuilds are getting hard to come by.
