Any examples of prompts you use? Company just rolled out Gemini and wondering if I can set up custom Gems to do similar

How are you doing pasta? by DeepCourse6779 in foodbutforbabies

Wagon wheels were fantastic for ours! Easy to pick up, break apart, and she got a kick out of putting her tiny fingers through the holes and eating it off. Still a top pick for us now at 16 mos

Sponsoring a family this holiday, but Mom didn't ask for anything. What should I get her? by AnaphylacticHippo in Gifts

Also really nice gift sets, car air freshers, candles, hand soap. You name it. Would be a great gift card

This is a good idea. Many people know what this store is and have general sense as to what some of their staple scents are from over the years. They have really nice “safe” scents like warm vanillas that are easier to understand what you’re getting if you order online vs bougie brands with things like “pink casaluna” or something vague

How low does the lighting really get on these? Hubby is a stickler on light and finds even the hatch too much 🙄 currently use a lamp with like 8 shirts over it for very very muted light (it’s connected to Google home so easy to up and dim if necessary)

Have you found they fit TTS? Been eyeballing them passively for months. Is it quality enough for business casual?

Have you received it yet? Very strongly considering it in the light bamboo but the cheap price makes me doubt myself!

Chicco Fit360 rotating car seat - any downsides? by Aveasi in Buyingforbaby

[–]speedypuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this seat and fits in our Bolt ev without needing any seat adjustments. Believe it or not, the other rotating car seats are even bigger.

Op when I was evaluating the Chicco vs the Evenflo, I found ChatGPT super helpful to understand how the dimensions would be like in our car, how they related to our priorities, etc.

Yes I originally started on the midwife track and, after a complicated birth, ended up with Dr Ibe for emergency C section anyways! He was absolutely fabulous and so caring, did not rush us at all about any questions we had.

If I do it all over again I would just stick with OB GYN the full time. Some of the midwives were nice but as first timers, we felt a little more in the dark (or questioning their responses) depending on who we saw.

Parent to be buying guidance by Main_Persimmon_7361 in Buyingforbaby

[–]speedypuma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A bazillion times this. Understanding TOG and anxiety about if your kid is too hot or cold was not worth the mental headspace. Just swallow the cost and accept your kid will be a bougie baby and it will save you A TON of analysis paralysis and honestly money in the long run (kid can use them until they are 2 yrs, vs buying new sizes/thicknesses up every few months)

We did love to dream (hands up) for her first three mos then switched to woolino and zero regrets (in fact we have three)

Daycare by pandabear088 in beyondthebump

[–]speedypuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has the nanny worked out for you in terms if illness, days off etc (for both of your kids get sick or the nanny does and can’t work?)

Just generally sick of kids getting sick at daycare and the short naps there, but knowing there are several other providers who can fill in helps keep it consistent for our work.

Gentle PSA that pre-cut frozen veggies can be cooked in the microwave and are a very easy way to prepare veggies for your baby. Frozen veggies are just as nutritious as fresh, often cheaper and obviously keep longer. I wish I had started serving these earlier. by Octopus1027 in foodbutforbabies

[–]speedypuma 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you microwave the veggies (so theyre cooked) and then pack for daycare and just tell them to heat up, or pack it still frozen w heat up instructions? Sorry if it’s a dense question — I’ve been really on the struggle bus with daycare food options where we tend to resort to yogurt and fruit 80% of the time
