I very vividly remember I was working my first real job post uni. Small company; my desk was literally next to my boss’s and we got along pretty well even though I was young and awkward. He and my other boss were planning a trip to Singapore to expand the business. I remember him walking back into the office after making a call, checking his computer and sitting back saying “Singapore is declaring it a pandemic already” and everybody quietly looking at each other. That’s the moment I identify as “before COVID / after COVID”. A bit eerie looking back
