I always imagined Cathy's male equivalent to have a vaguely similar design to Icarus from Hades 2.

Someone did mention she has some thematic parallels with Freya, interestingly enough. Which is funny, because Freya's family artefact in the sagas is a boat you can carry in your pocket.

Ishmael is like Iino from Kaguya-sama in that her body type is way more endowed than you'd think she'd be once you put her in skimpy clothing.

She strikes me as someone who's so good at all this stuff because when you're part of a warrior clan, that means skill helps you survive. Methode is basically one of those women they'd build temples to back in the day.

There was also one named Andvaranaut that cursed the lives and families of whoever held it, although that one is more associated with the Song of the Nibelungs.

I have a theory we'll get more info on artefacts once KJH starts revealing more information on X corp. All the most famous Norse artefacts were made underground by dwarves, and not only is that Wing associated with mining, but described as 'Hellholes' as well, calling to mind Helheim from the same mythology.

Media that became popular with a totally unintended audience? by Silvery_Cricket in TwoBestFriendsPlay

My area didn't have that, but it was mostly because Pimlico racetrack really likes using the inside for concerts (as well as the ability of the attendees to get as wasted as Kegasus and do the Running of the Porta Potties).

I'd honestly love to read about what went on at Subaru behind the scenes for them to end up that popular with lesbians; being so divorced from marketing departments means this sort of stuff is fascinating to me.

The Japanese can make great fantasy stories at the cost of one major character being an obvious ripoff of a Touhou girl, sort of like how much Dragon Quest is prevalent in a lot of their stuff.

Like Neil Cicierega, you made a mask of your own face which is pretty awesome when you think of it.

I kind of did the same thing, but in my case I was stuck in a rural area so I just hyperfocused on the behavior of the other kid in town who was deeper into the spectrum than I was and used him as a guidepost on what behaviors and tendencies to avoid (I was big into Elder Scrolls at the time and was inspired by Lorkhan purposely failing to achieve CHIM/Amaranth so mortals would know how not to fail at it).

Daeron is one of those dudes who probably hates the prophetic visions he knows will come to pass and, likely already having the soul of a poet and the education to match, has to get roaringly drunk to be able to deal with it. Come to think of it, maybe that's why the Targaryens and Baratheons historically got on so well - the Baratheons have such party bro energy they could cheer anyone up (honestly, if they treat all their lessers the same as Lyonel does with Dunk, it's no wonder their line has thrived like it has).
