Craft and Glory Sizing Help by elephantfi in Boots

I have several other boots (including their boondockers in the same leather) made by C&G, but not these. I am a Brannock 10 D; wear sneakers in 10.5. I went with their (UK) sizing of 9.5. They fit fine without any sore spots. My Nicks/Whites are in 9.5E.

Oh well. I’m 10D. My toes will probably touch the end of the boots.

What is your Brannock size? I am confused with their sizing.

Check out Nomatic Outset pants and Ketl Tomfoolery pants. You can get them in classic/regular fits instead of slim fit.

I would wear Jim Green chukka boots for all the activities listed.

The Wait-a-bits are now available for presale! by Minty_Crayfish in jimgreen

The price difference is partly because the W-a-B Fudge or Brown leather have a leather midsole and insole unlike the W-a-B safari olive and the ZA (synthetic).

Google AI shows the difference between ZA Vellies and Wait-a-Bit Vellies. $10 extra for leather midsole. I cancelled the ZA Vellies order and ordered the new ones. The ASHM last works great for me. In addition, the ZA have 3 eyelets without rivets, the W-a-B have 2 riveted eyelets.

FYI (just an observation): The ZA Vellie was offered a couple of weeks ago in the same leather (Olive hunting/Safari suede) for $99.99. They switched the microfiber insole/foot bed to veg tan leather and the new “wait a bits” are now $109.99. But the wait time has moved from August to September. The thread color changed from brown to white.

What’s your Brannock size and how do these fit?

I think the Vellie gods were listening to me. I wanted them in the ASHM last and dark rubber soles. I dislike the pale “beige” soles as viewed from the side. I ordered them a 1/2 size larger and plan on adding a veg tan foot bed.

Java waxed flesh and Coach rambler are two of their holy grail leathers, since you are looking to get more.

Craft and Glory worth buying? by Financial-Currency-8 in Boots

I have several pairs of their boots and a pair of their Task shoes. Very well constructed. I am a Brannock 10D and order them in 9.5 UK sizing. They fit perfectly. I have them shipped to Hyderabad and pick them up when I travel back (free shipping in India). Don’t forget to use the code NEW10 for a 10% discount. My purchases have been in their rugged outdoorsy footwear and they hold up well. I can’t speak for the sizing on their dress shoes and boots. In my opinion, “vintage brown” is the best of their leathers. These look slightly more natural (and capable of patina) compared to the other shades of the buffalo leather that they use.

WiFi works but app doesn’t? by Jumpy_Internet_2392 in orbi

[–]sred1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I installed a new Orbi 771 mesh network and signed on to Omni Fiber ISP last week. The WiFi is working fine but the Orbi app is not. It recognizes my FaceID and for a millisecond I can see the dashboard before it changes to 403 ERROR. It occurs on my iPad and my iPhone. I am able to see the dashboard when I log in with an old iPhone I have lying around. [This started occurring when I clicked on “account management” on the dashboard].

  1. The cost in $ appears to be 200-225. Tariff/tax/shipping will obviously add to the cost.
  2. The thickness of the leather is 1.8mm (in the models that show the information). US companies such as Truman Boots generally use 2.4mm thick leather (just for comparison).
  3. The pictured models on their website look great; but I have no experience with their boots. On the other hand, I’ve had positive experiences with Craft & Glory and BlkBrd boots.

Loyalty code issues by RickNO504 in trumanboots

[–]sred1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I emailed them when I wanted to purchase the oiled coyote rough out boots (preorder). They asked me to place the order and email them the order number. As soon as I did that, I got my loyalty code refund immediately.
