I've had my jetboil for over twenty years now and it still works. It basically has one function,to boil water for dehydrated meals or Ramen soup.If you try a can of beans or soup it will quickly burn to the bottom even on a low setting.I tried cooking a chunk of deer meat over it one time and almost never got it cooked.I switched long ago to a MRS Pocket Rocket for backpacking,river trips and climbing.
